The Kimura manor had been lonely, never empty.
Sakura had been too focused on the possibility of this being an illusion that he forgot to make use of her senses and figure out if there was a danger around her. Perhaps that was what happened when she was sure she was in hell.
And now, here she was, taking a leap of faith and trusting her instincts. Her hearing had been intensified to the point that it was almost creepy for her. She had been used to being sharp, sure, but not to this extent.
It was almost upsetting how easy she had walked into this.
