After another couple of minutes the ship finally docks at Yiltama's harbor.
Captain-"Attention all passengers, you are now able to exit the boat. Remember that we will be here for three days. So make sure to be back on the boat by 5:00 PM on the third day for our departure time will be 6:00 PM. We already have the west wing of the Northern Reef hotel fully reserved for our passengers so when you're ready to go to your rooms you'll find them there"
Joe-"So we are finally here? So where should we go first?"
Adam-"I've got a map of primary tourist attractions"
Julius-"Oh yeah? What's there to see?"
Adam-"Well like Marigold said before, there are some waterfalls. Don't know if it's the one she's talking about. Then there's the Northern Reef hotel that we're staying at"
Damion-"The hotel is an attraction?"
Adam-"Well it's right on the coast of the Northern Reef. It's supposed to be very majestic"
Elise-"Majestic?"
Adam-"That's what it says on the map"
Marigold-"I've always thought coral reefs were beautiful"
Julius-"When was the last time you saw one?"
Marigold-"It's been a few years, it would be amazing to see another one"
Julius-"Is it safe for you to swim around in the ocean?"
Marigold-"What do you mean?"
Julius-"Well you're an axolotl beastfolk. And axolotls live in freshwater"
Marigold-"It's fine, aquatic beastfolk's body adjust to both fresh water and salt water"
Elise-"Is looking at the ocean really a vacation? We just spent the past year on some islands"
Joe-"That was not a vacation"
Elise-"It felt like one to me"
Joe-"Yeah because your a battle maniac. So of course you'd like the islands full of monsters"
Elise-"You said you wanted to go"
Joe-"Yeah to get stronger not to enjoy myself"
Damion-"It was more like a work trip not a vacation"
Elise-"So you can make a metaphor now?"
Damion-"Actually that was a simile"
Joe(in his head)-"They sound like children bickering"
Marigold-"Can we go back to focusing on where we should go?"
Adam-"There are a lot of options"
Julius-"Well we'll be here for three days so we can pick anywhere"
Joe-"Plus we have money now after saving the boat, so we'll be able to afford stuff"
Adam-"It's not like we were struggling for cash before"
Julius-"Let's check out the Coral Reef"
Joe-"Sounds fun to me. You can just dry all of our clothes off afterwards right Julius?"
Julius-"Yeah, it's pretty simple to remove all of the moisture from clothes"
Marigold-"Let's go!"
Marigold starts walking and slightly trips but doesn't fall.
Marigold-"Still getting used to the extra height"
Julius-"Just let me know when you want to be shrunk back down"
Marigold-"I've only been this tall for a few minutes. Have you tried making a body for yourself that's this size?"
Julius-"Well I can make a realistic golem. But I can't make an organic body. Besides, I'm used to being at this size"
Joe-"Is it really that strange being as tall as me?"
Marigold-"It's quite different yeah"
Joe-"I wonder what it would be like to be smaller"
Julius-"I can shrink you down if you want me to"
Joe-"Nah, it seems like a hassle since we're walking around. Maybe later though"
Julius-"Well let's head down to the reef. I'll also make some snorkeling gear if you want it"
Marigold-"I'm looking forward to it"
The group starts walking towards the Northern Reef. After a few minutes of jogging they get to the beach next to the hotel.
Julius-"Alright, I'll make some scuba masks for everyone. Evolved skill: omni particle control"
Julius reconstructs the sand on the beach into four scuba masks.
Julius-"You sure you don't need one Marigold?"
Marigold-"It's alright"
Joe-"Well let's hop in"
Joe, Damion, Adam, and Elise all put on their scuba masks. They don't change into swim suits because Julius can dry them off afterwards. The group then hops into the water.
Elise-"I thought tropical oceans would be a little warmer"
Adam-"I'll race you to the reef"
Adam and Elise dive underwater and swim towards the reef. The rest of the group follows afterwards.
Julius(in his head)-"Going through water is a little annoying. Having to dodge all of the water molecules"
Voice-"You can use a small gravity skill to push the water molecules away from you so that you don't have to dodge out of the way"
Julius(in his head)-"Oh smart idea"
Julius follows the others under the water. Marigold swims past Elise and Adam.
Marigold-"Guess I'm a faster swimmer than you!"
Adam and Elise pick up the pace to try to keep up with her. The group quickly makes their way to the center of the Northern Reef.
Marigold-"Wow, it's very pretty. I haven't seen this Reef since I was a kid"
The group surfaces.
Joe-"It's a great Reef. Lots of different kinds of fish too"
Julius-"One of them was rainbow colored. I remember I read a children's book about that a long time ago"
Damion-"I'm starting to get a little hungry"
Elise-"Me too. How long you guys want for stay out here for?"
Marigold-"I can go order us some food"
Julius-"Let me go do that"
Marigold-"No it's alright, I'm a pretty fast swimmer"
Marigold starts swimming back.
Julius(in his head)-"She knows I can fly back"
Voice-"She was just trying to be nice"
Marigold swims back to the shore and walks up to the hotel.
Marigold-"I just realized I didn't ask them what they wanted. Well I've known them long enough that I'm sure I can guess"
Marigold walks towards the hotel's restaurant but bumps into someone. The person is a deer beast folk that looks mostly human but has deer antlers and deer ears.
Marigold-"I'm sorry"
Deer beastfolk-"It's alright mam I-"
The man looks at her inquisitively.
Deer beastfolk-"Beg my pardon but, are you an axolotl?"
Marigold-"I am"
Deer beastfolk-"You seem, much taller than I would have imagined"
Marigold-"Oh I have a friend who can use size changing skills"
Deer beastfolk-"Fascinating, that's a very rare kind of skill. What kinds do you use?"
Marigold-"Oh, I actually have Holy magic"
The man's eyes widen for a split second but he goes back to normal.
Deer beastfolk-"Well that's incredible, holy magic is incredibly rare, especially amongst us beastfolk"
Marigold-"Yeah, well I have to go order some food for my friends"
Marigold starts to walk off.
Marigold-"Oh I guess I should ask, what kind of skills do you use?"
Deer beastfolk-"Oh, I'm a doctor who specializes in healing skills"
Marigold-"Nice to know, have a good rest of you day"
Marigold walks off.
Deer beastfolk-"You as well mam"
The man starts to walk off.
Deer beastfolk-"What a wonderful day"
The deer beastfolk walks away from the beach slightly into the forest. He then holds his hand up to his face.
Deer beastfolk-"Reporting in, it seems that the axolotl with holy magic returned"
The man's palm morphs into a human ear and mouth.
Deer beastfolk-"What should I do?"
The hand-"Find out why she's here, then bring her to me"
