"Don't you dare try to fool me!" Zhang Xue said furiously. She abruptly let go of Zhang Bin and quickly retreated.

Unprepared, Zhang Bin fell hard onto the ground. Perhaps it was just bad luck, but the back of his head cracked against a stone.
"Ouch..." Zhang Bin cried out in pain.
"Serves you right if you die!"
Zhang Xue's pretty face flushed red. She had been holding him for a while, and he had taken full advantage of the situation. But with so many people around, she was too embarrassed to say anything.
"I was just protecting you from a powerful enemy, and this is how you treat me?" Zhang Bin grumbled, getting to his feet with a look of indignation.
"So, I was supposed to just keep holding you until the great battle was over?" Zhang Xue retorted, mortified and annoyed.
"Hehe... If you like it that much, I can let you hold me like this more often in the future," Zhang Bin said with a wicked smirk.
