A brilliant light flared around one of the assassins as his sabre slashed out like lightning. It struck the very tip of Zhou Tianyu's incoming spear.

An earth-shattering boom erupted, sending a shower of brilliant sparks into the air.
Zhou Tianyu felt a terrifying force slam into him. Unable to keep his balance, he staggered several steps to the side. Both of his hands went numb.
The assassin did not fare well either. The webbing between his thumb and forefinger split open, and blood gushed out like a spring as a pained cry escaped his lips. Yet, he still gripped his sabre tightly. He kept running, evidently using his momentum to disperse the immense force.
