An Ning spoke earnestly. "You were partners to begin with. You have benefits that he needs, and he approached you because of those benefits. That's perfectly normal. But the fact that love has developed between you doesn't make it any less genuine."
Elizabeth was once again persuaded by An Ning. "You're right."
"Whether you can truly win him over remains to be seen," An Ning said.
"OK, I'm leaving now!" Elizabeth picked up her bag and left.
Only after sending this woman off did An Ning let out a heavy sigh of relief.
Mo Ang came downstairs, looking at her with a strange expression.
An Ning felt uncomfortable being stared at by him. "What are you looking at?"
"I can't believe you've got some real skills. You managed to handle that woman, and you even directly told her we have a connection... what is going on here?"
He used to think he understood human nature well enough to guess people's thoughts, but now he had to admit, he really couldn't figure out the mind of a woman.
