Harlan James had already been rendered useless by Carson, his Sea of Consciousness destroyed, Primordial Spirit shattered; essentially a cripple. After all, Carson had to prevent them from joining forces after meeting, so after Harlan lured the other two, Carson disabled him.
The two who were lured inside the pagoda were wiped out by Carson alone.
From start to finish, Cassiane did not make a move.
Carson had Cassiane retain her full strength to deal with Zaldric Goodwin, as Zaldric was indeed the most formidable opponent.
Originally, they wanted to lure Zaldric into the pagoda and, with Delarosa, launch a siege on him. Since he wouldn't fall for it, they had to face him head-on.
