Chapter 312 - Sirzechs: He sure knows!

Chapter 312 - Sirzechs: He sure knows!

Sirzechs turned to Mahiro with a solemn expression.

More precisely, he focused on the weapon in Mahiro's hands.

As a transcendent who surpassed the boundaries of a Satan among devils, Sirzechs understood the immense power contained within the arrow.

"My brother-in-law grows ever more mysterious," Sirzechs said with a chuckle, shaking his head.

Mahiro possessed an array of unusual Sacred Gears, none of them weak.

The bow in his hands, in terms of raw power, was comparable to a Longinus.

"It's reached its limit," Mahiro murmured, sensing the terrifying energy in the arrow as he ceased boosting it.

Further enhancement seemed futile; the power couldn't increase beyond its current state.

This aligned with Mahiro's expectations.

The Boosted Gear, even in Juggernaut Drive, could only grant its host the power of the Two Heavenly Dragons at their peak.

As one of its core abilities, Boost couldn't exceed that limit.

The arrow's power already matched a transcendent's strike.

Even if Vali used Divine Dividing's ability to halve and neutralize it, the power wouldn't drop below transcendent.

Raising Apollon, Mahiro aimed the arrow at Vali.

"Vali, you may not survive this," Albion warned, certain that a direct hit would shatter Vali.

"Albion, I can't retreat now," Vali looked resolute.

He understood Albion's concern.

"I won't die." A hint of madness gleamed in Vali's eyes, his face alight with unprecedented fighting spirit.

"Only by facing Mahiro's strike can I understand the gap between us."

"All you hosts are battle maniacs," Albion said helplessly.

"Didn't you already know that?" Vali replied with a wild laugh.

More importantly, he had agreed to take Mahiro's blow.

Fleeing now would cast a shadow over his future, preventing him from ever joining the ranks of the top powerhouses.

"Show me the strength of your strike!" Vali declared, his voice ringing out.

At that moment, the entire space seemed to freeze.

In the next instant, the stillness shattered.

The surrounding space writhed, ripples oscillating and sweeping through the area.

"Buzz-buzz!"

As the ripples spread, space churned like a turbulent lake, distorting violently.

Cracks appeared, as if the space itself couldn't withstand the pressure.

"Half Dimension?" Mahiro noted, observing the forceful phenomenon.

This was one of Divine Dividing's abilities, halving the volume of everything within its range—not just physical size, but power as well.

The arrow shot forth, transforming into a purple light that instantly closed the distance to Vali.

As it entered Half Dimension, the arrow's volume halved, and the flame at its tip dimmed, reduced by half.

Yet, Half Dimension alone couldn't stop Apollon.

The arrow struck Vali's armor directly.

"Boom!"

Like a meteorite impact, a dazzling explosion lit up the sky.

An earth-shattering roar reverberated, threatening to rupture eardrums.

Kuoh Academy trembled under the impact.

"Crack!"

In the sky, massive fissures spread across the barrier above Kuoh Academy, webbing like a spider's net.

Ripples of force radiated from the explosion's epicenter, collapsing buildings in their wake.

Whether it was the allied forces of the Three Factions maintaining the barrier or the Old Satan Faction's mages locked in combat, all paused, their faces etched with horror.

The thunderous shockwave nearly shook Kuoh Academy to its foundations.

Where Vali stood, a nuclear explosion-like scene unfolded, flames arcing outward in a blazing circle—a terrifying vision of apocalyptic destruction.

"Michael, help me reinforce the barrier with all your strength," Sirzechs urged, having anticipated this outcome.

His demonic power surged, forming a vast defensive barrier to contain Apollon's explosion, preventing it from harming others.

He knew that without containment, most within the barrier would suffer.

Michael acted without hesitation.

His twelve golden wings flared with dazzling light, light power erupting to aid Sirzechs in stabilizing the barrier.

A transcendent and one of the Four Seraphim, combining their full might, confined the explosion to a limited area, preventing its spread.

At the explosion's core, Vali stubbornly resisted the blast's energy.

Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide!

Waves of halving energy enveloping Vali, mitigating the force's impact.

"Vali!" Albion's anxious voice rang out, but Vali seemed deaf to it, instinctively using the ability.

After what felt like an eternity, the explosion subsided.

Vali remained suspended in the air.
