Chapter 311 - All Gone

Chapter 311 - All Gone

Apollon.

Since Mahiro got this weapon, it has remained unused in his inventory, gathering dust.

He had never encountered an enemy worthy of its power.

Among Mahiro's arsenal, Apollon was the most destructive weapon.

Unlike Mystic Eyes of Distortion or the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, Apollon served a single purpose.

This singular focus granted it unparalleled lethality.

Apollon's strike rivaled the power of a Satan-Class, capable of reducing a country to ashes instantly.

Its upper limit could erase an entire civilization from history.

Until now, Mahiro had defeated all enemies with his own abilities, never needing Apollon.

But Vali, in Juggernaut Drive, was a worthy opponent for its use.

Mahiro's decision to use Apollon to settle the battle, despite holding the upper hand, stemmed from his desire to claim Vali's Sacred Gear—Divine Dividing.

During their fight, Mahiro had spent points to query his system about the compatibility between Divine Dividing and the Boosted Gear.

The answer: ninety-five percent.

Other sacred gears, by contrast, had only fifty percent compatibility.

Mahiro doubted other Longinus would surpass Divine Dividing's compatibility.

Divine Dividing and the Boosted Gear, both Longinus created simultaneously by the Biblical God, inherited the abilities of the Two Heavenly Dragons.

Their powers were mutually opposing yet complementary, having adapted to each other through centuries of conflict.

This ninety-five percent compatibility meant a high chance of successfully synthesizing a new Sacred Gear, as long as luck held.

Capturing Divine Dividing under normal circumstances was impossible.

Only by severely injuring or killing Vali could Mahiro seize it.

Thus, Mahiro chose a single, decisive strike to determine the outcome.

Moreover, Mahiro knew that outside the barrier, someone was preparing a spatial channel to extract Vali.

If Vali escaped, Mahiro couldn't stop him.

Mahiro had no intention of letting that happen.

Defeating Vali with his strongest attack was a strategy planned from the battle's outset.

Mahiro nocked an arrow on Apollon's bowstring.

A purple flame flickered at the arrow's tip, like fireworks heralding destruction.

"Transfer!"

Dazzling light bloomed from Boosted Gear, accompanied by a deep, resonant voice.

The amplified power could be transferred to a partner or weapon.

Instantly, the flame at the arrow's tip doubled, its energy surging to a terrifying level.

This power was restrained, lacking the earth-shattering spectacle of Vali's Juggernaut Drive.

Beyond the flame's increased size and brightness, it showed no other signs.

"Not enough," Mahiro muttered, continuing to use Boost.

Throughout the battle, Mahiro had been accumulating power with Boost.

Now, he channeled it all into Apollon, pushing its power nearly beyond that of a Satan.

Boost! Boost! Boost!

Over the next half-minute, Mahiro triggered Boost three times, aiming to elevate the arrow's power further.

"Interesting!" Vali exclaimed, staring at the bow and arrow with an excited smile.

"I didn't expect you to hide such a weapon."

"Mahiro, how many trump cards do you have left?"

Vali's words carried longing, fighting spirit, and a hint of frustration—jealousy for an old rival.

He had revealed all his cards, yet Mahiro's full strength remained a mystery.

"My trump cards?" Mahiro said with a faint smile.

"Survive this, and you might be worthy to see them."

"Transfer!"

The Boosted Gear flickered again, channeling more power into the arrow.

The flame's energy grew increasingly terrifying, and reaching transcendent-class.

A single shot could obliterate a continent.

"Vali, be careful," Albion warned.

"This arrow's energy rivals our prime. Even then, we couldn't guarantee survival."

Mahiro's actions also drew Sirzechs' attention.

"One last time—are you sure you won't surrender?" Sirzechs asked solemnly, facing Creuserey Asmodeus.

"Sirzechs, are you joking?" Creuserey laughed arrogantly. "With Ophis' power, I'll kill you here."

Once Sirzechs' inferior, Creuserey now matched him, thanks to Ophis' power, fueling his overconfidence.

"I'm sorry, then," Sirzechs said regretfully.

"For the Underworld's future peace, I can't spare you. I must also maintain this barrier."

A red aura erupted from Sirzechs—the Power of Destruction unleashed.

His presence became exponentially more terrifying, over ten times stronger than before.

"Sirzechs, you—!"

Before Creuserey could finish, the Power of Destruction engulfed him, reducing him to dust in an instant.
