"Is he really telling the truth about him having insomnia?" She questioned and continued to mumble on the words. Just then Mrs. Williams walked into the building with some escort, and people bowed to her in respect and she smiled at them, She got to where Maya was, and she noticed her lost in thought, she smiled and walked up to her.
"Hey maya ". she said smiling and Maya turned to her quickly.
" Mrs. Williams" " She gave a slight bow.
"How are you, my dear?". she asked caressing her hair tenderly.
" Am fine ma, Are you here to buy--" she got interrupted.
"No dear, am here to take you out for lunch". she said and Maya stared at her surprisedly.
" Me?". she sputtered and Mrs. Williams smiled at her.
"Of course, you, shall we?".
" Um, Ma, is not--"she got interrupted.
"I know is not advisable to go out with someone during work hours, I get it, but, you are not just any worker here, but a family of the Williams, so, shall we?". she took her hand and they walked away, everyone was staring surprisedly at them including the receptionist girls, Maya bow her head, avoiding their gaze.
" This girl is really aiming high, now she has used her charm to manipulate the owner's mother ". Angela said.
" I think we are letting her have her way freely, let's do something fast". Becky said and they sighed tiredly.
At the restaurant, Maya and Mrs. Williams sat down facing each other as they were waiting for their orders, Maya was staring nervously at the amazing building, she had never dreamed of coming to a fancy restaurant that is meant for the rich, Mrs. Williams saw how nervous she was, she smiles.
"Relax Maya, no one is going to hurt you here". she said politely and Maya smiled shyly at her. "Just be free with me". she said and then the waiter brought their meal and they started eating, Maya was amazed by the taste." Do you like the food?".
"Yes, ma, it tastes nice". she said, and they continued eating and chatting, just then, some groups of escorts walked in, and surrounded the whole place, Maya noticed the commotion in the restaurant as the customers were standing up with their partners and some with their co-friends, she could view what was going on because she was seated facing the exit door, Mrs.Williams didn't seem to know what is going on because she was busy with her meal. Maya was surprised by what kind of missions those escorts were up to, she didn't recognize them as Jayden's escorts because Jayden men were mightier and well-built, The whole place became empty as it was only her and Mrs. Williams in the restaurant, just then her eyes caught sight of an unfamiliar figure enter the building with his head bow to the ground and was smoking making the whole place uncomfortable, He raises his face and his eyes met Maya, Maya could see how scary and handsome he look at the same time, he has a well-built muscular body and his hair was short and style sideway, he has this tempted lips with deep-brown eyes.Mrs.Williams noticed Maya stop eating and was staring at one spot, she also noticed there was nobody In the restaurant, everywhere was looking calm, she turned to see what Maya was staring at, and she noticed the man and she quickly recognized who he was." Ma, I think we have to leave now". she said and Mrs. Williams turned to her smiling.
"Not yet dear, we are not done finishing our meal".
" But this person here looks troubled". She said feeling uncomfortable, then she saw the man walking in their direction.
"Don't pay attention to them, just continue your food". she said and she got interrupted from behind.
" Hello, Ma Williams, what a pleasure to meet you here ". he said and Mrs. Williams stared coldly at him, then he returned his gaze to Maya and smiled lovingly at her." What a pretty lady we got here".
"What do you want Lucas?". Mrs. Williams said unlikely.
" Well, I was just passing by and I got famished, so I saw this amazing restaurant and I decided to stop by and grab some lunch". he said staring at Maya, and Maya was feeling uncomfortable about his gaze.
"Can you leave?". Mrs. Williams said and he laughed.
" Why? I just got here" he stared at Maya again." who is this pretty damsel with you, I guess she is just my type". he smirked and Maya felt irritated and Mrs. Williams tried to talk but Maya cut in quickly.
"Excuse me! Don't you think you are interrupting our lunch? Can you please excuse us". Maya said unfriendly and Mrs. Williams was amazed by her attitude.
"Wow, I love her gust". Lucas said laughing and Maya scoffed." I like ladies like you and I would mind having you as mine for the night, don't worry you are going to enjoy it". he said and quickly Maya got angry, she picked up a glass of water and splashed it on his face, everyone was surprised including Mrs. Williams, but Lucas was smiling, his men tried to retaliate but he stopped them quickly.
"How dare you! Do I look like whore to you?". she yelled angrily.
" Lucas, leave this place right now? what gave you the right to come in here and interrupt our meal?"Mrs. Williams said angrily and he scoffed, then he rested his gaze on Maya to see her eyes boiling with anger.
"I was hoping to leave, but this pretty here caught my attention". he tried to touch her hair but someone held his hand tightly, Mrs. Williams and Maya raised their face to see it was Jayden holding his hand and they could see the angry look on his face.

"Mom?" Theo and Ryan called from behind and they moved to them.
"Are you two ok?" Theo asked and his mother nodded.
"Theo, take Mom and Maya out of here". Jayden said still staring hard at Lucas while holding his hand.
" Come on, let's go ".Theo said and they left. Jayden let go of Lucas's hand and grabbed his collar.
" How dare you?".Jayden said angrily staring hard at him and Lucas scoffed.
"Long time bro, is this how you welcome a friend". Lucas said.
" The next time I see you close to any of my family again, you will be sorry ". he said and pushed him off before walking away with his escort, Lucas stared after him angrily and arranged his collar.

" How do you, boys know we were there?" Mrs.Williams asked.
"We were with Big Bro in his office when one of your escorts called to inform Big Bro that Lucas and his men are in the same restaurant with you and Maya, so, we rushed here as soon as we could". Ryan said.
" Who is he?".Maya asked.
"Don't get close to him, he has cunning as a serpent, he is the Williams's biggest enemy ". Ryan said.
" You don't have to worry about anything, he won't dare come close to you". Mrs. Williams said.
"I am not afraid of him, if he dares, I will show him who is the boss". Maya said and they laughed.
" Yeah, she's right, you needed to see the way she stood her ground in front of him". Mrs. Williams said.
"Really? That's cool". Ryan said.
" That is what my parents taught me, never let your guard down or not anyone bully you".Maya said.
"Well, they did the right thing". Mrs. Williams said.
" Will your brother be okay with that guy?" she asked.
"Yeah, he knows how to handle him". Theo said.
"OK, I will stop at my workplace". Maya said.
"No, My brother instructed us to take you home". Theo said.
" But is not yet my closing hour".
