Reluctantly, Griar eventually peeked into the sewers, and immediately, his nose was assaulted by a wretched smell that could only be described as the unison of faeces, rotten eggs, and rot into a single, awful reek.
The sewers were uncomfortably humid with stagnant water, when Griar set foot upon the ground, he heard a sick squish beneath his boots, the water was filthy, and suspicious shapes were floating about, the walls were covered in mould alongside the same dark substance that was visible outside as well, the two melding together into a filthy tapestry.
'This is terrible, where did this vampire even go?' the worst part was that there weren't just two paths to follow, the sewers were in ruins and destroyed tunnels carved through them, creating what felt like the inside of an ant colony, the undead could have gone through any of these passages.
