A month later, Cheng Zhiming and Mu Xinlan's wedding was held on an unprecedented grand scale. Angel flitted around the venue like a little cherub, happily scattering flower petals.
"Auntie! You're here!"
Angel saw Cheng Meixue and said excitedly, "Did you see? I'm in Daddy and Mommy's wedding photos!"
"I saw!"
Cheng Meixue reached out to pinch Angel's little cheeks and said with a smile, "That huge screen has been looping the wedding photos nonstop. I'd have a hard time not seeing you."
"Hee hee!"
Angel giggled. "Mommy said it's thanks to me being there that she didn't feel so awkward taking photos!"
Cheng Meixue knew about Pan Shuyi's situation. Seeing Angel so happy, she felt a bit more at ease.
"Angel, Auntie's going to check how your mommy's getting on, okay?"
"Okay!"
Cheng Meixue turned and headed toward the bridal lounge, with Bai Wei walking protectively at her side. "Honey, slow down," he said.
