After lunch, Luo Yao was driven to the hospital by the chauffeur. She wasn't entirely familiar with this hospital but it wasn't completely unfamiliar to her either; she just never paid it much attention before.
She walked to the floor where Lu Shaoyuan worked, unsure of which office he was in, so she proceeded to the nurse's station to inquire.
"Hello, could you tell me which office is Lu Shaoyuan's?"
"Dr. Lu is in..."
Lian Limin looked up and was taken aback when she recognized Luo Yao as Lu Shaoyuan's wife. Her expression quickly turned cold.
Instead of immediately answering Luo Yao's question, she looked her up and down several times before speaking, "What are you doing here?"
Her tone seemed as if she were questioning Luo Yao, like she was assuming the role of the rightful spouse.
Luo Yao didn't expect to run into Lian Limin here. Hearing her unfriendly questioning, she smiled faintly and replied, "I'm his wife, bringing him lunch!"
