The energy seemed to hollow around it. Then the spear ignited with a fierce orange light, crackling with energy, and with a sharp motion, the figure hurled it straight toward them.
Victor's eyes narrowed. He snapped his fingers, and the spear froze mid-flight, instantly encased in jagged ice.
