Karna waited after he finished asking his question to Jason.
But instead of a direct answer from Jason, a small window opened up in front of him.
[Congratulations to the host for figuring out the secret boss hidden within the annals of Fairy Tail. By learning this fact, the host has completed and eliminated multiple future missions that were supposed to be tackled by the host before the final battle.
Calculating the amount of rewards the host was supposed to get…
Eliminating multiple rewards that could have been helpful in various quests that were deleted…]
"Hey, What the hell, why did I lose all my rewards like that?" Karna exclaimed in surprise.
"Patience, my dear Padawan," Jason said calmly. But Karna had a bewildered look as he saw Jason currently wearing Obi-Wan's Jedi costume.
"Really? Did you really just summon a costume to do a meme right now?" Karna asked.
"Hey kid, I'm a god. I can do anything I want. And if you have the power to do anything and don't do live memes, you ain't a god at all," Jason replied.
Before Karna could reply to that, the window in front of him started to project once again.
[Taking the energy from the deleted rewards combining and create a more improved reward for mission completion]
Karna let out a sigh of relief at that, then looked at Jason with frustration. The juvenile god had slowed the process just enough to get a reaction from Dante to do the meme.
"I... you know what, I give up." Karna knew nothing could make the god stop, so he decided to stop fighting it for the sake of his sanity.
"Learn… quickly… you… do." Jason said while stroking a beard that suddenly appeared on his face
Karna still felt his blood pressure rise at that. He then turned to the screen to ignore whatever Jason was doing.
[Combining the energy…
Calculating Host's needs for future battles…
Personal strength increase…
Not required
New ability…
Not required
Assimilating energy…
Taking in more variables…]
Karna was not surprised that the system eliminated the two options of granting more abilities or strength. He knew he already had a lot of abilities he hadn't completely mastered yet. Increasing his power suddenly would only lead to him losing control over his existing power, making it even harder for him to master it fully within time. And even if he does moaster it, it will not give him enough time to improve it even more. Power levelling should be done moderately. Only by mastering it completely before getting even stronger will help him in the future.
He still hadn't completed the process of combining every type of power he had with his archery to create an ultimate attack to face Acnologia and any other threats in the future.
[Final decision…
A support modification of a spell and a one-time divine-level artifact for a decisive battle.
Reward – Divine Arena, Modified Fairy Sphere Spell]
Karna raised his eyebrows as he checked the description of the artifact.
[Divine Arena – An absolute one-time artifact that can trap the user and a designated opponent in an arena within a hidden dimension shaped like a Greek colosseum. Until one of them kills the other, the dimension will not open and release those trapped inside.
Once a person is designated as an enemy and the user selects him, the enemy's true form will appear in the arena. The arena ensures that the opponent has not used any clones or illusions to escape. Once one of the two combatants dies, they will experience true death. They cannot be brought back; their DNA, which could create clones, will be destroyed. Their descendants will lose the portion of DNA inherited from the defeated and will become beings entirely formed from the other side of their bloodline.]
"Shit," Karna involuntarily cursed. He was actually thinking about how to beat Ankhseram, which was, in many ways, even more problematic than dealing with Acnologia.
At least Acnologia had a physical form that could be fought directly. But Ankhseram was an immortal god who had major control over the domain of death. It wouldn't surprise Karna if Ankhseram just hid for centuries until Karna died, while sending hundreds of undying beings to keep the world occupied.
But now, at least, he had a chance to defeat him face-to-face. The battle might be extremely difficult, and he was way, way out of his league right now. But still, there was a chance he could end it.
He then read the description of the modified Fairy Sphere.
"Oh, this one's good," he said with a smile.
"Yeah, since we've dealt with that for now, let me tell you about your new junior."
"A new reincarnator? Please tell me you didn't use your truck," Karna asked with a bit of hope, but the smile he got in return said everything he needed to know.
"Alright, what world is he going to?" Karna asked.
"Harry Potter. Canon, with a slight history change from canon." Jason replied.
"So he doesn't need me to go there and help him? That world doesn't have enough threats for that, right?" Karna asked as he knew the Harry Potter world villains was slightly underwhelming after Grindelwald. The later death eaters were not actually that smart or strong compared to Fairy Tail and MHA world.
"Yeah, so are you giving any gift?"
"Well, I've got something that might help him without being too overpowered in that world," Karna said as he took out one of his experimental spells from his mind palace. "I expect you to convert it into a form by which the guy can receive it, right?"
"Yeah. I can't believe you're giving the ultimate cheat sheet to that kid," Jason said with a smile.
"Hey, you're already in the red for killing the kid using a truck from a river," Karna said with a smile, now realizing that dying by truck in a narrow alley didn't seem so ridiculous anymore.
"Alright, write a letter to him with some advice… and we're done," Jason said, suddenly making a letter appear in front of Karna. He read it, and it felt like something he would have written, so he let it go.
"By the way, what did Inazuma give him?" Karna asked.
"Stock market knowledge and the way to use it without making it crash."
"Damn, he won in that one," Karna replied.
A/N- hope you like it.
