Prince Lukas arrived promptly after lunch, his assistant following along dutifully behind him.
Karl couldn't help but notice the annoyed look that the Crown Prince was giving the Incubus when he realized that Rue was more excited to see Nyx than she was to see him. But the Princess' lack of filter more than made up for it.
"NYX! I just found out that you're a boy! Why didn't you tell me?" She demanded, hands on her hips.
"You didn't know? Girl, I'm not feminine, I'm just fabulous. Plus, I'm quite sure that we've been over this before." The Incubus joked.
Rue frowned. Had she heard that from him before? No, she didn't think so. But there were parts of that event that were a blur of sugar and excitement. She might have talked to him at some point and then forgotten about it.
