RYAN'S QUARTERS-
"Princess Iris, your lunch." Amber announced as she placed the food on the side table.
"I'm not hungry, I'll eat later." Iris said as Amber gave a displeased look.
"You did the same for breakfast my lady, please have just a little." Amnber requested politely.
"I'm not hungry, I'll eat when I feel like it just leave the food there." Iris replied.
"Is it because the crown prince hasn't sent any letters." Amber asked softly as Iris gave her a blank stare.
"Don't worry he might be busy but I know he cares about you alot."
"Amber please I want to be alone.".
"Yes my lady."
DINNING HALL (EUPHORIA)-
"Mother-in-law! Wyatt just sent a letter." Isabella said excitingly as she sat down opposite her.
"That's great! What of you Iris, have you received a letter from Ryan?" Queen Maria asked.
"No mother, he didn't send any." Iris replied sadly.
"Oh? That's very bad." Isabella wailed in pity.
"Don't tell me your husband forgot about you it's just been a day." Isabella gasped as Iris bent down her head in shame.
"Keep quiet!" The queen ordered. " He must be busy, you know how Ryan is."
"Mother-in-law, you shouldn't keep her in the dark, what kind of husband will forget about his wife just because of work?" Isabella asked, a look of fake sympathy on her face.
"Mother, she's right." Iris finally spoke.
"What if he's having an affair with someone over there and he forgot all about this wife." Isabella stated.
"Enough? That's not the write way to speak Isabella." The queen cautioned.
"You might think it's nonsense mother but it's not, it might be the truth." Isabella smirked.
"Excuse me! I need to be somewhere."
RYAN'S BEDROOM-
Iris walked into the room, shutting the door from behind as she flipped on the bed crying.
"What's happening to me?" She sniffled.
"I shouldn't let anything Isabella say get to me." She said to herself.
"It's just a fake marriage but why does it hurt when I think about it." She said standing to her feet as she walked over to the wardrobe. She opened the door, going through drawers and clothes until she found what she was looking for- the contract. She brought it out and gently closed the cupboard.
"It will all end, this care, home, all the love will end in just give months." Iris whispered.
"No! What am I doing?" She asked herself as she wiped her tears.
"I should get hold of myself." She said to herself when suddenly Amber rushed in like a wounded lion.
"What's the problem?" Iris asked trying to compose herself.
"It's the crown prince, he got into an accident." Amber replied.
"What did you just..." Iris couldn't finish her sentence as she gave way for the ground.
"My lady?" Amber rushed over to her trying to wake her up.
"I should go and call for help."Amber said as she ran out to seek help.
