" Hi, you are here" Melinda said nervously when she had seen Derek walk into the cafe
" Did I keep you waiting?" He asked her
" Not really, I just got here" Melinda responded
" Let's order a coffee" Derek said with a smile on his face.
The barista offered them coffees according to their tastes after which they continued their discussion
" How have you been? It's been a month we saw each other face to face after studying for our final year special projects together " Derek said
" Yes, I have been busy outside town with my family " she responded
" What could make you that busy?" He asked in curiosity
" My family's beach haven't been going well lately because we don't have much workers to help out especially for the fact that the owner of the local resort close to the village make use of our beach for the guests " she responded silently
" Your family owns a beach? Derek asked
" Yes, my mum runs the beach now after my father's death. It's really hard for her so I just travel back a couple of time to help her out" she responded
" That must be hard, what do you think about my friends and I joining you at the beach this holiday before the semester resumes? We can help you out for few days" Kelvin said
" Really?" Melinda asked
" Ya" he responded
