Valentine Teller was burning with anxiety: "Dad, Mom, why are you hiding this from me?"
Daisy Palmer waved her hand: "Your dad and I have something to do now, we need to go out for a bit. You stay at home, and when we come back, we'll all go together to buy a laptop for Sara."
"Mom..." Valentine wanted to say more, but Daisy cut her off: "Alright, alright, let's talk when Mom comes back. Your dad and I have to leave now."
With that, Daisy and Stefan Quiles headed for the door together.
"Eliana, your mom and I will be back soon, go take a nap!"
As he walked past Valentine, Stefan Quiles added another reminder.
"Dad, Mom..." Valentine watched their backs and only then noticed the large bag in her father's hand.
She recognized that bag; it was used to carry snacks bought at a nearby supermarket for Sara after returning from the hospital.
Are they going to the hospital?
Why didn't they ask her to go along? What are they hiding from her?
