Esmee Perry couldn't wait to go to the Capital to see Mommy and little An.
She missed them so much!
"Don't rush, let's eat first." Tabby Teller placed Esmee Perry in the seat beside him and set the bowl and chopsticks in front of her.
Momma Perry went to the kitchen to bring out the food saved for Esmee Perry.
In a low voice, she nervously asked, "Tabby, are you really planning to take Esmee to the Capital?"
"Yes." Tabby Teller replied seriously, "Avoiding the problem won't solve it. Claudia should face this, and Esmee is innocent; the emotional entanglements between adults shouldn't drag a child into them."
"But..."
Momma Perry, also a woman, understood women.
No matter how generous or kind-hearted a woman is, it's hard to accept a child born of her husband and another woman.
She could understand that feeling, so she didn't blame Claudia Ross at all, nor did she expect her to accept Esmee.
