Qu Leqi stayed inside for almost an hour, during which Heather moved a bit farther away, standing about as close as Yi Yang.
It was probably to avoid suspicion, fearing she might overhear something she wasn't supposed to.
Yi Yang had already figured out her thoughts and said with a smile, "Miss Hai, you're not afraid of overhearing something, are you?"
Heather shrugged, "Even though I'm not sure if I would, better to steer clear just in case."
"I don't think you will," Yi Yang replied. "Mr. Nian is still hurt, even if he wanted to—his body wouldn't allow it."
"Really?" Heather thought for a moment and said, "Just now, I thought he looked pretty good, his injuries don't seem serious, and he should be fine."
What Yi Yang said to comfort her wasn't wrong; Mr. Nian was indeed unharmed. His robust physique wasn't for nothing, nor were those muscles built for show. Clearly, he exercised often, and his constitution was excellent.
"No way."
