Vincent was stunned by the scene unfolding before him, unable to grasp what had just occurred.
His gaze instinctively turned towards Scarlett, his eyes sharpening.
"What exactly did you do?"
Scarlett, already drained of strength, couldn't help but let out a cold laugh and rolled her eyes at the question.
"If I had actually done something, do you think you'd still be alive to talk to me here?"
Scarlett had come here solely for John.
To be honest, saving these people was merely incidental.
She hadn't intended to rescue them, but considering that John might feel uncomfortable or upset upon awakening, she had decided to include them in her protective efforts.
But it was ridiculous that this fool, having just regained consciousness, would immediately come to her with such nonsensical questions.
