"Aghh..." A scream was heard from outside.
One of Lennon's guards had been killed.
"Sir, they're murderers!" shouted the other before being struck in the shoulder with a poisoned dagger.
Matthew had already acted.
'A weapon capable of piercing the armored glass of this carriage... These guys are very powerful,' he thought.
He covered Lennon's mouth to keep him from screaming and quickly exited through the door opposite the assassins' position.
Lennon's only guard, poisoned, immediately raised his sword and shield to defend him.
"Sir, run away, these guys are very powerful!" he shouted, gritting his teeth in pain.
