Chapter 19 - Uno Reverse

Just like that, Kuma had brought Sear to the first half of the Grand Line from Baltigo in under two days.

"How do we trust you?"

Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, stood across from him. They were onboard the Wind Granma, the main flagship of the Army.

Sear wasn't intimidated by the man's presence.

"I know what's in the East Blue, in that seemingly ordinary village. Of course, I won't disclose this information to anyone," he said without any hint of hesitation or fear.

The weight of those words fell greatly on Dragon, a single drop of sweat dripped from the side of head. 'Nobody should know this, except a few. Did Father tell him this? For what reason? I am sure he is not a spy; he is from that Shimotsuki village after all.'

"Let's say you actually are telling the truth. What else do you know, and what can you tell us?" Thus, he decided to know more before anything else.

Sear looked around, afraid if anyone would accidentally overhear the conversation.

"Rest assured, I have already told the staff to not get near this place. I can attest they are extremely loyal, but some secrets are necessary to protect those around us."

Not only that, Dragon suddenly emanated a pressure from him that forced Sear to his knees. Yet his intent hadn't been to harm the young man.

"I made sure to use both Conqueror's and Observation Haki. There isn't a soul that can eavesdrop on us" he said as the surrounding space stabilized.

It was absolutely certain; nobody except Kuma, who was standing nearby, could hear their conversation undetected.

Sear, still trembling, stood up and nodded. "Okay! So, where do you want to start then?"

He stated the question plainly, before continuing..

"The history before 800 years, the many secrets of the D. clan, the mystery of the Poneglyphs, the Sun God, ancient weapons... or would you like to know about the true ruler of this world?"

As he revealed secrets one after another, Dragon and Kuma felt as if the solid floor below their feet had disintegrated.

In particular Kuma, a follower of Sun God Nika or Joyboy, was deeply touched when he heard that one of Joyboy's comrade was still alive or more accurately was in deep hibernation somewhere.

But What shocked them the most was naturally the existence of Saint Nerona Imu; the hidden monarch of the world who had been alive for 800 years. Facts pertaining to his abilities, in particular, were terrifying.

Yet Sear hadn't told them everything. He only told what he knew about the aforementioned things, some of which they themselves already knew. Telling them everything wouldn't do any good; it would just complicate things.

Processing the implications of his words, Dragon and Kuma understood, they couldn't carelessly share these things to anyone.

From now on, whatever was going to come out of this young man's mouth, couldn't be taken lightly.

Four people were in a secret meeting at a well-secured part of the ship. Those in attendance were Sear, Dragon, Kuma, and the commander of the Grand Line Revolutionaries, Emporio Ivankov.

All three of these upper-echelon leaders had been restless ever since Ginny's abduction.

"Kidnapping a World Noble as a hostage? That is a bold move," Dragon stated.

After which Ivankov also spoke, "But Horn-boy, even if we do what you say, what's the guarantee that those high and mighty nobles will trade Ginny with us?"

Sear replied to that while smiling, "That is why we should broadcast the whole event throughout the world. That way, they won't have any choice but to negotiate. Their pride will be on the line; they can't have a World Noble die before the whole world, can they?"

Dragon was impressed by his ingenuity. An unconventional strategist could benefit the Revolutionaries immensely, But his following words were anything but encouraging; it was a cold mirror to reality.

"Hmm, it's a sound plan. However, the consequences after rescuing Ginny are bound to put everyone at risk. Thousands of our comrades have been captured by the Marines till now. Currently, our forces are in no position to sustain the wrath of the Government's full military might."

The room became quiet. It really was a conundrum, yet in this moment, Kuma proposed a solution...

"Dragon, how about instead of first spreading the news, we blackmail them. We will give threat, if they don't release her, then we will announce to the world that a Celestial Dragon was captured. They won't have any choice but to comply to protect their image."

"That's right! We can always do that!" Ivankov shouted, nearly scaring the soul out of Sear.

"How could we not think of it in such a lens?" Dragon remarked. Even a rationalist like him was convinced.

Yet then Ivankov abruptly stopped rejoicing, having thought of an issue. "But World Nobles hardly ever travel far from Sabaody. You don't mean we kidnap them from there, right?"

"Well, I do know the approximate time when a World Noble will leave the Holy Land and Sabaody."

"With your precognition Haki?" Dragon asked.

"Yes!"

The three of them had assumed Sear's ability to get random glimpses of the future to be some kind of weird Haki bloom. Of course, he had no such ability and the glimpses of the future were made up, but he didn't correct any misunderstandings.

Nonetheless, he wasn't done speaking.

"Two years from now, a Celestial Dragon (World Noble) will indeed go to the Goa Kingdom in Dawn Island. It is going to be a massive event, but as I said, that's going to take two years."

"We can't wait that long!" Ivankov stated.

"Reports clearly stated that she had caught the eye of a Noble. I can't imagine what will happen in these two years."

That was right; the four lowered their head in reflection.

At that moment, Dragon spoke with absolute conviction, "Be prepared. We will put this plan into motion the moment an opportunity reveals itself."
