ERIK'S POV
The moment Erik stepped out of the doors of the dungeon, he finally took in a deep breath of fresh air.
He closed his eyes and let the air fill his nostrils before sighing heavily.
He hated those dungeons so much.
It housed the worst of the worst criminals they had encountered.
They were all waiting for their death sentences or Xaden to pass execution.
To see Jessica there, his mate.
Erik breathed in heavily and closed his eyes to let his mind think.
And then within the blink of an eye, he rushed off to a tree and punched his fists into it.
The tree instantly shattered and dropped to the ground, its leaves scattering all over.
He growled and howled in rage, letting out all his bottled-up emotions!.
This was the last thing he had expected to ever happen.
Ever!
Jessica was supposed to be dead!
Dead and gone!
And yet here she was.
To show how fucked up the situation was he could feel the mark.
