I pushed the table at him and he growled in pain. "Owwww."
I made a quick detour and went round from the other end of the table as I fled.
I rushed to the door and pulled it but Aston slammed it back, keeping it shut in place before he pushed me back.
This time he didn't just push me aggressively, he used the powers of his wolf to send me spiralling to the other end of the room.
My back hit the wall and I howled in pain.
Unlike how my pain almost always vanished, it hovered.
And so for once again, I was experiencing pain that I wasn't used to.

I heard a lock switch and dread filled me instantly as I knew that Aston had now locked us in.
I fell back down and coughed some blood.
I reached over my mouth and said a silent prayer for me to heal myself, alas nothing.
Rather all I could hear was Aston's footseps advancing towards me.
