With a ripple and a silent sliding, The Adventurer smoothly glided out of the ocean of energy through a sleek path and arrived at a new part of the universe light-years away from where it had left from. And this time, there was more than just floating dust and debris floating in the darkness.
This part of the universe had light, coming from a sun shining over from the other side from the planet not far away, relatively speaking.
"Oh?"
"What, big brother?"
Lucas didn't reply to Hannah. He tightened his hold on Estrella to attract her attention and asked:
"Can you feel that too?"
Estrella looked at the planet in the distance without a ripple in her calm eyes. After a while, maybe a minute or two, she frowned, a subtle discomfort rising in her chest, and more so, a rootless one she could not understand.
Lucas took in the changes in her expression, and turned to Hannah:
"Get closer. Don't worry, but don't hurry either."
