Darkness, wide, all encompassing, but not stillness, because of some rocks, some dust, some debris floating around or continuing in the long journey that would only ever end only when they had crumbled away, or when they would hit something able to stop them. Nevertheless, the sparse amount of activity spread over a distance the eyes could only ever try to infer gave no vitality to the quiet space, only that tiniest bit of life, of existence.
Suddenly, an intruder appeared amidst the established system of existence. Starting from ripples that seemed to treat the darkness itself as a curtain, a blue light made an abrupt entrance in this 'empty' part of the universe, and remained hovering in the void.
The blue light dimmed, and turned into a thin, translucent film covering a spindle-shaped spaceship like a forcefield. It was The Adventurer, hovering like a calm addition to the desolate void around.
