Staring at the direction Eleanor was heading to he breathed out and immediately his eyes turned pitch black like that of Eleanor's but hers was more darker.
Using his immortal powers which he rarely use he rushed to where she was and his vampire adrenaline rush which was common for all vampires.
Eleanor as if she felt someone was coming towards her she turned backwards to see Adrian moving towards her direction with force.
Staring at him as he rushed towards her she fell down to the floor and fainted but before she fell to the ground Adrian caught her.
Disapparating back to her room he placed her on the bed carefully for her to rest,he knew the amount of strength that has gone out from her.
Knowing her breath was fine and stable he covered her with the quilt and left the room.going down to the main hall he saw Jack his butler.
"Sir Adrian you are back do you need anything"he asked seeing how serious Adrian was he have to thread on a thin line now.
"Take care of her i will be back late today"he said and disapparated without sparing the young vampire a glance
The young vampire wondered what had happen for his master to be this serous after many years.
"Hmmmph"said the young vampire and left for his duties
Adrian apparated back to the old witch hut which still look scattered because of the wind that howled inside it.
Seeing the immortal she knew he was here to discuss about what had happened now which she wasn't also aware of.
"Where is she?"asked the old witch
"She is sleeping"answered Adrian to the witch
"Hmm are you sure she is okay with the amount of strength that thing consumed from her body she must be weak by what just happened"
"She was breathing fine when I came out so she will be okay"
"Ok then"she answered awaiting him to start the discussion she didn't want to bring up the matter herself.
"You don't know what happened am I right"asked Adrian staring at the old witch
Stirring something inside a pot she answered "since my years of living I haven't experienced such a power and I think she is more powerful than you"she stared back at him
"Hmm I think so I couldn't even go close to her when she was in that state"said Adrian
"Does she know about it"asked the witch
"No! She forgets about it whenever she wakes up"
"I think this sleep is going to take a lot of days or probably weeks"said the old witch
"Hmm I think so too do you know someone that might be of help"asked Adrian
"Hmmm I think I have someone in mind but I don't think she will be around"
"Why do you say"asked Adrian
"She has been missing for some time and she was among the war but she was born before me that makes her more powerful"said the old witch
"Where can I find her"Adrian wanted to meet with the witch fast he don't know when Eleanor was going to change again.
"The last time I saw her she was in mirthfield"answered the old witch
"Ok what's her name"said Adrian standing up to leave when the woman stopped him with her words
"Charlotte… I think that was what I can remember,why are you hell bent on trying to know what she is"
The woman had heard that he made himself an immortal just to wait for his lover who was to reincarnate but even till now the girl's face was yet to be seen anywhere.
"Does that face looks like that of Luna"he retorted to the woman without turning back grieved that someone reminded him of his love.
Reminiscing the past brought him pain on what happened that day which he was trying to let go while waiting for her.
"Then what's making you help her since she is not luna"said the woman intrigued to her the reason why this aloof immortal was helping a maid he took from the palace.
News fly around the vampires so well but as for the witches some were bad so news don't spread like that.
As for the humans they were the broadcasters the creatures that had the most important news of what was happening around the kingdoms.
"As you already know a war is coming the one that is going to wipe out the humans and maybe the vampires if they are not careful and lucky enough"
"What war? Who is going to cause the war"she asked astounded by the reveal she just heard
"Your kind,the witches they are the ones causing the havoc which has already started and I think she is the only one to stop it"said Adrian
"Are you sure about it"asked Adrian
"Hmm I wasn't sure but as you had seen all we had assumed were false as the girl came out to be more than what I expected her to be"
"Does anyone know about it?"the old witch knowing if one of the dark witches found out they had a savior
The one who had told him the prophecy was none other Eleanor supposed grandmother the woman Adrian used to take care of Eleanor.
So it wasn't a bad thing for the vampires and humans to have someone that can see the future or anything pertaining to what is to come.
Who would have known they were taking care of the girl as she was special unbeknownst to her by sending her to the palace to work.
"Hmmm for that I'm not sure since the war is involving everyone including the vampires and humans"
"You have to be careful with her the witches are not to be trusted"said the old witch though she was a witch she knew how untrustworthy her kind was.
"Should I trust you then"asked Adrian staring at the old witch
"I don't know if you could trust me but I know you know the right thing to do"
Adrian stared at the old witch the woman has been with him for years,he saved her and sometimes let her do what she wants but she had never betrayed him which wasn't a guarantee but a leverage to betray him.
