"Thanks for your cooperation," Naruto said with a small smile on his face, but in Miguel's eyes it was a sinister and mocking smile.
Naruto slowly turned his attention towards Gato. Gato's body unconsciously trembled, especially after seeing the white-haired teenager with cold light blue eyes.
Naruto already removed his dark sunglasses and was staring at Gato with unknown intention, but everyone could guess it wasn't a good intention.
Zabuza and Fugaku already had their own guess as to the reason for Gato's appearance, especially after seeing the several dozen henchmen he gathered.
It was easy to tell that Gato wasn't planning on paying Zabuza for completing the mission. In fact, Gato's plan was to kill everyone involved and make the people of the Land of Wave finally lose hope.
Too bad for Gato he encountered Naruto.

Gato slowly steps back while his eyes are glued to Naruto, not daring to blink even once. Gato was afraid that if he did, Naruto would appear in front of him and end his life.
Naruto suddenly vanished from his position and appeared right in front of Gato, causing the latter to fall to his bottom while staring at Naruto in terror and fear.
"A-A-Attack him!" Gato screams at the top of his lungs, and everyone can feel the fear he is currently feeling with his voice alone.
The thugs immediately dash towards Naruto while raising their respective weapons in the air with intent to kill Naruto in one strike.
They believe that with their numbers, no matter how strong Naruto is, he will definitely die.
Too bad the thugs greatly underestimate a ninja's capabilities no matter how new they are.

Naruto calmly looks at Gato's pathetic action.
"Now we can talk in peace," Naruto said in a low voice, but to Gato, it was like the voice of a devil that was trying to devour his soul.
"W-W-Wh-What d-do y-you w-want...? M-M-Money...? G-G-Girls...? ...I can give you anything just sp-spare my l-life," Gato said in desperation while his eyes were glued to Naruto's indifferent and cold light blue eyes.
"No, I don't want those," Naruto calmly responds.
Naruto simply lowered his head, and his indifferent expression slowly transformed into a sinister one, which made Gato's body tremble in fear.
"I want to know the location of your base, that's all," Naruto added.
"I-I'll te-tell y-you," Gato immediately told Naruto everything he needed to know.
"Thank you for your cooperation." Naruto smiled innocently, but to Gato it was a smile of a devil.
Before Gato could even begin to speak another word, his body started to twist like a rag.
"AAARGH!" Gato's scream resounded throughout the bridges.
Tazuna and the people who are helping him build the bridges had their bodies tremble uncontrollably in fear.
While they didn't like Gato and wanted him to die to free their nation, the way he died was so cruel that it became their nightmare for the next few days.
Satsuki and Hinata stared at Naruto back in slight fear, especially at the fact that they saw the corner of his lips curve upward.
They didn't realize until now how dangerous Naruto is as a person and how cruel he truly is.
Even Haku had to close her eyes to avoid seeing the cruel death of Gato. She also didn't like Gato due to his previous action against Zabuza, but she was against the way Gato died.
Fugaku and Zabuza remain indifferent to Gato's death since it wasn't the first time they saw someone die in a cruel fashion. In fact, they saw someone die worse than Gato.
Gato screamed for some time before his voice died down and his body twisted so many times that the blood in his body was already sprayed outside.
While everyone was staring at Gato's corpses, no one noticed the drops of blood were about to touch Naruto suspended in the area.
Naruto then snapped his finger, and the blood that drenched his body started to gather in front of him, creating a ball of blood.
After all the blood was removed from Naruto, the ball of blood quickly fell and tainted the bridge.
Naruto once again vanished from his position and appeared in front of Zabuza, making the latter dash backward while staring at Naruto with great suspicion.
"What do you want?" Zabuza asks in a low and cold voice while tightly gripping the Executioner Blade, preparing to attack Naruto for any sign of movement that the latter had that Zabuza saw as an attack.
Naruto understood Zabuza's thoughts but didn't care about them. In Naruto's opinion, whatever resistance Zabuza does will be pointless if he really wants to kill the latter.
"I am here to send you a message, that's all," Naruto responds in an indifferent manner.
"What message?" Zabuza frowned while not lowering his guard even a little bit.
"Someone wants you to return back to the Village Hidden in the Mist and stop being a rogue ninja," Naruto calmly answered.
"That's all?" Zabuza asks, unable to hide his confusion.
Naruto just gives a small nod.
Zabuza didn't know the person that made such a request, but he also understood that he had to make a decision.
Zabuza secretly glances at Haku, who maintains a considerable distance from Team 13 while also secretly preparing to attack anyone if they threaten his life.
'Seems like I had to make a decision as soon as possible,' Zabuza thought to himself.
Just as Zabuza was at his own thoughts, he suddenly snapped out as he saw Naruto once again appear in front of him, and this time it was different; Zabuza was unable to move his body.
Zabuza noticed a seal formula suddenly appeared around his body, making his body frozen in place.
Haku notices this and tries to dash towards Naruto, but she is also frozen in place, and just like Zabuza, she also sees the seal formula around her body.
This development truly shocked everyone; even Fugaku didn't know what to do. He didn't know what Naruto was planning, and if he interpreted Naruto's action wrongly, without a doubt, Naruto would launch an attack towards him and the two girls.

"Why did you heal us?" Zabuza asks in confusion.
Naruto turned his head towards Zabuza and replied carefreely, "It's just a whim."
Satsuki and Hinata were confused about Naruto's actions, especially the fact that Zabuza and Haku were their enemies and healing them wouldn't help the team as a whole but hinder it instead.
Fugaku, on the other hand, slightly understands the meaning behind Naruto's actions. Fugaku believes that the reason why Naruto healed them was to mend their relationship.
Gato was already dead, so Zabuza and Haku didn't have any justification for killing Tazuna and stopping the latter from completing building the bridge.
Also, if Zabuza returns back to the Village Hidden in the Mist and stops being a rogue ninja, then the relationship between the two villages will definitely improve.
