Adam froze.
He looked around at the colorful landscape with a terrifying expression on his hideous face. The sea birds resting everywhere scattered in a frenzy when that booming voice echoed all around.
"Am I hearing things?" He mumbled in shock.
He lowered his head, then stroked his charred chin in puzzlement. "No, wait. That's not right. I'm always hearing things," he said.
"But that voice just now…" He looked around the place where he was training. "I'm sure it came from all around me. And it spoke to me in… Old Lunari! At least… I think it was Old Lunari?"
The voices in his head always spoke in Jotun. And from time to time, he would even hear a strange, oddly familiar voice speaking in Acaros—the language of humans in Tron.
As realization dawned on Adam, his eyes… or rather, his hollow sockets… widened in astonishment. "It spoke in Old Lunari!"
