We walk through the market, chatting idly as we admire the wares, listen to the vendors, and generally just look around. May stays perched atop Lucas' shoulders the whole time. Lucas is deceptively strong - one arm lightly on her leg to stabilize her, he shows no sign of fatigue or strain crying her around, despite how dainty he looks.
Though the man is larger than he lets on, of course.
It's not something that would be easily seen through all those layers of gaudy silk and jewelry that he so loves to wear.
He's not exactly a warrior, even if I've seen him fight at times. If anything, the gaudy wrapping around him is part of his strategy - looking weaker is something he's used to his advantage plenty of times.
Perhaps I should be more impressed by the times he managed to bluff someone into believing he was stronger than actually was, given how much effort he puts into looking less so.
Or perhaps I'm giving him too much credit.
