Chapter 195 - Chapter 195: Around the World

[3rd POV]

The next morning had been an interesting one. As Lucifer and the rest of her family had woken up, and had promptly been asked to join the Stark family for breakfast. And this time, it was public and the servants knew all about them joining for the breakfast.

According to Ned, it was because he did not see a reason to alienate them simply because others might look down on them for being from Essos. That and he could not reasonably treat them like others, because Lucifer was their God, the one that they worshipped above any other.

And it was only right that the woman that had not only helped mend the relationship of her family, but had also pointed out many different things that can be used to improve the North, would join them at breakfast. She was the reason why the North would undoubtedly become the richest of the kingdoms in the coming years.

Speaking of Kingdoms. They were in Chaos.

The changing of "Divine Law" was a very public thing that thousands had seen across Westeros, and even in Essos on top of that. There were tens of thousands of Seven worshippers who had seen the statues glow and the rules openly warp and change into something new, something actually real.

News was rapidly spreading of the fate that had befallen upon the corrupt and evil members of the faith of the seven and the other worshippers. This even included the Boltons, who had been wiped out with only Domeric Bolton still living at the moment. The rest of them were dead and dusted, due to the wrath of the Old Gods.

The Gods were real. That much was blatant and evident. The Old Gods, the Seven, the Drowned, all of them was real. And all of them had acted at the exact same time, in tandem. Not only that, but all of them warped their laws and rules to something very similar to one another.

This led to a natural conclusion in the eyes of the many. One that made many pale in horror and others to just remain shocked.

The conclusion that much of Westeros had come to was...that the Seven, Old Gods, Drowned Gods...that all of them were one single God. That there were not many Gods, but one. And that one god was very displeased with their actions and the way the world was running.

Lucifer had done the same in Essos, warping laws and rules, making it very clear to the worshippers of R'hllor that they were not to just burn others in sacrifice, ending the lives of innocent men, women, and children. All in the name of their misguided beliefs in their God.

All based on laws that she had never made. Rules that were not her own, but the machinations of some person from thousands of years ago. And from what Lucifer had seen by looking into the past, it was a woman in the case of the R'hllor. The woman had lied and manipulated, turning the once peaceful religion into something it should never have been.

It was like that in a lot of religions though, from what Lucifer had found. Most religions that existed for long enough were corrupted in some form. Not in its entirety of course, but enough that it made a difference, and not really a good one.

She didn't like that, so she changed it in this world, and many other universes in tandem at the same time. Across the Game of Thrones multiverse, a similar event had occurred at the same time. In those universes it was far less pronounced and much quieter, but it still happened, and would still make a giant difference in the long run.

In the temple that worshiped her R'hllor aspect, the red priests had fallen to their knees in horror. As they saw the truth of the matter. That the entity that they had been worshipping this entire time, that they had been following and been manipulated by...it was a demonic entity.

They did exist in this world. They were weak and pitiful, but they existed.

Lucifer offed them all the second she noticed them. They were dead and obliterated from existence, as she noticed that they fed on some truly vile and horrific things that they manipulated into happening. One of those things was the fall of Old Valyria, which they slowly but surely brought into destruction.

Out of all the red priests, Kinvara and Melisandre had been the ones to react the harshest. It had been like their entire lives had exploded in front of them, the truth of what they had done, the things that they had done.

Murder, sacrifice, and so many other ritualistic horrific things that were done under the machinations and manipulations of demonic creatures.

But now they were gone, and Lucifer was sending them real, actual messages. One unlike anything that they had seen before. Whispers of ending slavery, ridding the world of the vile monstrosity that was slavery and its various forms.

Fires that showed those that deserved redemption, of others that deserved healing, and those that deserved a number of other things. They were rapidly seeing it all, so that they knew what they needed to do. So that they would know who they needed to save.

Besides the Gods, the humans were having a rather...interesting reaction. Kings Landing was the most chaotic of all the cities in the entirety of Westeros. This was both in the normal days and situations, and the current one where Gods were proven to be real.

Robert Baratheon was once in his life, actually forced to do his kingly duties. In order to keep order in the city and the rest of Westeros, he was forced to put the city under strict control, bringing in more gold cloaks and utilizing the forces of the Stormlands.

The fact that the Old Gods were shown to be real was something that had pissed off a lot of hardcore believers of the Faith. And that had led to riots and all sorts of negative events to occur. But none of them lasted long, with Robert stepping in personally to regain control over the city.

Similar events happened around the Kingdoms, with only the Lannisters not having to deal with anything like that. As the citizens of the Westerlands were far too fearful of what Tywin would do to them should they do anything stupid.

Ned had received ravens that very same morning from the rest of the Northern lords, the fact that the Old Gods were real proved their beliefs. Not only that, but some of the Northern lords had found that their lands seemed to...glow more than before. Crops were growing at a faster pace than before.

They were growing so fast that some of the Lords realized that it had to be an act of the Old gods. As unlike the Seven aspect, the actions of the Old Gods were far more prevalent...and definitely more useful.

Using this as an excuse, Ned sent out ravens to tell them all of their new mines, and with the help of Lucifer, had sent out exact maps showing what mines they had on their lands, what types they were, and the best way to get them.

But now, Lucifer decided it was time to leave Winterfell. They had been in the castle for a couple of days now, and they had some more exploring to do. They wanted to go and visit the rest of the major cities in Westeros.

And the Starks had been helped enough for now.

Which is why Lucifer was currently walking out of Winterfell with Daenerys and Alice at their sides. Looking back at the currently waving Stark family, Lucifer smiled, as she held the hands of her wife, and the hand of the girl that was becoming more and more of a daughter figure to her.

And as she turned back to look ahead, leaving the Stark family behind, Lucifer smiled with only one thought on her mind.

'Onwards to Kings Landing!'
