Lucas abruptly opened his eyes upon hearing a shrill scream from Lady Daunby.
"What happened?" asked the panicked Lucas.
"Yo...you!" The lady was still in shock from what happened earlier. Her mind still could not process her current predicament; the transition of the events was quite unexpected.
Lucas stared at her, unsure of what to do or say. He just gazed at her in a peculiar manner. "Listen, you brat, I will now send you out," said the lady with traces of fear in her voice.
"What exactly happened?" said the confused Lucas.
"It isn't the time yet. Just don't think about that book for the time being," said the lady, who was still quite dizzy.
"How about the condition you've previously mentioned?" said Lucas.
"Oh, I almost forgot," said the lady. She then summoned her Grimoire, surprisingly carved with profound curves and ancient languages he couldn't understand. Moreover, it was gold in color! It was his first time seeing such a majestic book aside from the chained book. Lucas was now even more determined to explore this newfound knowledge. He surely doesn't have that much extensive knowledge on this, but he will definitely figure things out after going out.
As the lady chanted some peculiar mantras, a blazing glow of light suddenly descended from her book straight to her pupils, and after a short while, a white egg appeared with various golden markings. It's as if evoking a mysterious pure qi.
"Wha...what's this?" said Lucas.
"This is my daughter. I will hand her over to you for the meantime. You must take care of her with your utmost sincerity. Originally, I did not intend to give her to you but alas!" said the lady while gritting her teeth.
"Summon your Grimoire," she added. Lucas obediently summoned his Grimoire. The lady then placed the egg on his book and exerted some pure Qi on the egg to let it hatch faster. Lucas was slightly nervous while watching the contractual process. It was his first time, and this will be a momentous event in his life as this is his first familia!
After a while, the glowing light now subsided. "Take care of her for me. We are the last of our kind, and I hope you'll honor your promise," said the lady.
"All right, now that it's done, you can now leave. It will take me half of my strength to send you out. Bear the pressure and let your soul synchronize with my Qi," said the lady.
Lucas closed his eyes and let the lady enter his sea of consciousness, and after a little while, he suddenly felt a huge pressure on his soul; thus, he doesn't have a choice but to close his eyes and bear with it. He could vaguely feel the struggles of the lady in the process. Beads of sweat slowly appeared on her forehead as she is slowly draining her essence qi. Her image is slowly turning half transparent. After a few minutes, he finally gave the final push.
A huge hole of a vortex sucked Lucas, sending him off to the white world. The lady, on the other hand, had pushed herself to her limit and had directly collapsed and fainted.
Lucas felt as if he's going to puke at any moment due to the strong force coupled with the pure qi that his body cannot handle yet. He laid down his body on his bed to recuperate some energy, and after a short while, he sat down on his bed to fully process what had just happened.
"Did I just acquire a familia?" said Lucas.
Lucas was still in a daze just by thinking of it, as it felt so surreal. What Lucas didn't know was that he didn't just acquire one, but a pair of mother and daughter. What was more surprising was that it was a Dragon! A pure and genuine dragon. If the people of the sanctuary knew of this feat, it would definitely astound the countless guilds and sects.
One has to know that dragons are mythical creatures and are highly intelligent creatures. This circumstance has never occurred and is definitely the first to be recorded, or otherwise.
After pondering for a while, Lucas summoned his blue Grimoire. His book has six white pages; thus, it appeared very thin. It may sound amazing to have six pages, but one cannot easily bind a creature onto it unless the spiritas has enough rings on his dantian.
Every Soul Spitas must increase the floors of the mini tower in their dantian to supplement the integration of each contract in the book. Each floor is the source of each familia's mana. The tower is the sole manifestation of being a genuine Soul Spiritas. On its first page, an astonishing sight can be seen. A pure white egg with intricate patterns of an ancient language can be seen on its surface.
Lucas then confirmed that he truly now has a genuine familia!
However, though he now has a familia, it's still in its egg form; thus, it is unlikely for him to summon it. Thus, he could only look at its information panel.

Lucas instantly frowned upon seeing the panel. Familiars are divided into six known qualities: mediocre, normal, servant, Elite, commander, General. Creatures in the sanctuary are further divided into many distinct grades: Bronze, copper, iron, silver, gold. He had no recollection of the mythical quality and a diamond grade at all. While looking at it, Lucas could not help but wonder how peculiar this panel is.
While he was looking at the book, he suddenly heard a knock on the door.
"Lucas, it's me hurry and open up!" said a voice coming from a young girl.
Apart from his aunt and grandfather, Lucas also has a cute litte causin. She was already thirteen years old this year and will about to undergo an awakening next month. Her name is Aila Dy Morningstar. She was the sole daugther and the princess of the family.
" Thank God you're healed!, Let's go outside! I heard there's a new restaurant in the village, I heard it's main shop was located at the Blue Moon City!" said Aila excitedly.
Lucas twitch his mount and said, " Alright alright!, let me grab some coins first"

"There's so many people in here! Thankfully I've Booked us in advance." Said the girl.
While the girl was continuously blabbering, Lucas was still in daze due to the recent events that has transpired.
