"As expected. No wonder I can't feel the energy earlier. It was sealed in your soul. I wont divulge any information to you right now as I do not hold the authority to do so. " Surprisingly the girl was not speaking with despise anymore. Instead, it was strangely filled with some reverence.
" The matter of your grimoire is a small matter actually. If you are willing I can unseal some parts of the sealed power inside you if you want to " said the girl.
" Why are you suddenly courteous? " said Lucas. He still did not let his guard down just because she was now nice.
"Listen, if it weren't for the fact that I owe your grandfather I wouldn't even give you a shit brat" she coldly said.
"Wait what? my grandfather? How did you know him? didn't you say I was a descendant of a servant? are you referring to my grandfather? " Lucas was insanely confuse right now due to this unprecedented situation.
"I thought so too. I thought you are a descendant of his servant. I failed to recognize some resemblance you have with your grandfather. You're far too skinny and weak. You're not fit to have me spill any information regarding your grandfather. Maybe he's the one who sealed your potential or maybe your mother, in order you grow safely in the barren land you've mentioned." said the girl.
Lucas didn't know how to react anymore. He couldn't think properly as he was really confuse.
After a long while of contemplation, the Lucas give a long sigh and ask the girl "Who... who really are you? Why are you trapped here? why do you know my grandfather? "
The girl stared at him for a while and then answered him " I' am.. you can call me lady Daunbry for now" Lady daunbry hesitatedly said.
" How should I get out of here? " Lucas asked.
"Supposedly , it's impossible for you to get out of here, but after seeing the seal within you, there's now a way. However, it will be too taxing for me to do so. But if you really want to, I can help you but with one condition." said lady daunbry.
" As long as it does not cross any of my moral value, then why not? " said Lucas.
" Alright follow me." said the lady.
Both of them then walk outside of the pagoda. After walking away from the pagoda, both of them then stand facing each other.
"Go on a meditative state" said lady daunbry.
Lucas followed her suit and afterwards, lady daunbry draw a circle surrounding Lucas with various strange symbols. After that, a glowing blue light enveloped Lucas then suddenly his grimoire appeared. This is the first time he would see his grimoire after the last encounter. Lucas stared at it carefully and after a while, Lucas frowned after seeing it.
It was strangely a Blue Grimoire! it is far too 'simple' compared to what it looked like before. After casting the spell, lady daunbry then faced him.
" This is not it's true color, it just reverted to it's weakest form due to your unstable soul and weak body. Luckily it did not fell that much or else It would be difficult for you to do my condition. " said lady daunbry.
Lucas then let out a huge sigh and said " Good, at least I still can revert it back to it's original color but, what happened to the golden chain wrapping it? " said Lucas
" Golden Chain? what golden chain? It does not have a chain when I checked it" lady daunbry said while frowning.
"Eh? Isn't this originally crystallized black book covered with golden chains? " said Lucas indifferently.
"Crystallized black book you say? Isn't it a yin book? are you sure? " said the lady frowning.
"Let me check you again." she added.
She then draw another set of deployment spell. Afterwards, she checked his sea soul once again and after long time of meticulously searching, she finally noticed a dark area of Lucas's sea soul. She immediately inspected it but, as she got closer to it, she felt an aggressively oppressive force coming from it. Thus, she did not forcefully entered it's domain as, it will shatter Lucas's sea soul due to it's unstable condition.
She carefully sent her qi in it but surprisingly, it was compelled by a strange force. She frowned and then sent another qi to it but this time it was with a unique aura of their tribe. The White Dragon to be exact. Her clan is known for its powerful qi perception, time and space manipulation, soul sealing technique, and many more incredible unique abilities thus, she is confident when it comes to unsealing things that are sealed.
However, the force coming from it is unexpectedly stronger than she originally imagined. It was as if someone was protecting it and doesn't want any unwanted energy or force to interfere it. She was utterly shock on the outcome of this predicament. She wasn't expecting something like this to occur! Suddenly, she heard a voice coming from it.
"Do not do any blasphemous act on the sacred place at once! " said the strange voice
"Who are you? why are you contaminating this child's sea soul?" said the lady while keeping a fighting stance.
"Contaminating? Ha! How dare you say such nonsense in here! Listen you vile beast, there are things that should be left undisturbed as it may cause you your life. Since you dare act unpleasantly, Let me give you a small punishment." said the voice in a despising voice.
A strange dark light suddenly attacked the lady in an unfathomable speed. It then penetrated into her pupils straight into her soul! A forceful contract was then establish between the book in the dark area and the lady. The Lady was utterly devastated to see such outcome. She still find it ridiculous. How can someone forcefully sign a contract with a race who already possess a grimoire!
It is a known fact to everyone that a race or a creature cannot be a famlia once it attained a higher level of cultivation. Moreover, it is an impossible feat to sign a contract with an intellectual being! unless, the creature willing or attained its intelligence due to the training of its master. This predicament is surely unexpected! It's as if a human is signing a contract with another human which is a huge taboo on the whole sanctuary!
"What did you do! " said the lady
" You should be thankful I gave you leeway on that loose punishment. Listen, this book contains many secrets that no ordinary creature should know. Know that if it weren't for the fact that you've encountered Lucas, You should have be dead right now!" said the voice.
" Lucas? " The lady was now regretting her previous actions. Who would have know this strange would happen?
" Go back. Do not tell anything to him. It isn't the time yet." said the voice in a condescending manner.
" Also, give your litter beast to him, it would be a huge help to him for the time being" he added. Then, she was forcefully taken away in that area back to colorless world.
"That is all I could do for you brother. I hope you'll hang on and survive." said the melancholic voice.
The lady did not heard the last word of the voice as she was already expelled from that place.
