The second figure landed with much more grace.
The clouds parted.
A soft melody drifted across the heavens before anyone saw its source, gentle and serene, yet carrying a pressure that made countless cultivators below instinctively lower their heads. It was as though heaven itself had become a grand zither, its invisible strings resonating across the sky.
Then she appeared.
Descending from the sea of clouds, the woman seemed less like a mortal cultivator and more like a celestial maiden stepping out of an ancient painting.
Long ebony hair flowed behind her like a waterfall of midnight silk, reaching far beyond her waist. Countless strands danced in the wind, interwoven with shimmering jade ornaments and silver tassels that chimed softly with every movement.
Or so one might think.
But if noticed carefully, they would realise that the sound was not produced by the ornaments themselves but by the spiritual resonance surrounding her body.
