Sun City, as the second largest city of the Solomon Viscounty, with a population of around 150,000 people, being coastal is the commercial engine of the viscounty. Most of the merchants of the territory operate in Sun City.
As a commercial and fishing center, Sun City has great importance in the Solomon Viscounty. Therefore, the first thing Lucrecia did in the viscounty was to appoint a new lord of the city: Gregorio Flores, who has managed Sun City for ten years. He was the previous butler of the Solomon family and, as someone who enjoyed the entirety of her trust, Lucrecia delegated to him the opportunity to manage Sun City.
The sun was about to set in the west of Sun City. The fishermen were returning from their fishing work, the commercial establishments were preparing to close their businesses, and along the busy city street a luxurious carriage passed. Upon seeing the family crest, people stepped aside with astonishment and respect.
The changes that André had brought were not only reflected in Solomon City: they had also improved Sun City a great deal, and the people had great respect and appreciation for the lord of the viscounty. At that moment no one imagined that Sun City in the future would become the world economic center. André had great plans for the city.
With his eyes closed, resting on Grace's soft thighs, André suddenly woke up upon feeling that the carriage was stopping and said:
"Are we already here?"
"Yes, we are in front of the city lord's mansion," Grace answered with a smile.
"Oh, what a pity; I wish we still had not arrived." Without getting up from the soft and fragrant pillow, André spoke with mischief.
"It's a shame; it seems they are coming to receive us," Grace said playfully, although it was difficult for her to hide the blush on her face.
"Ah, I feel renewed. I must find another opportunity to sleep like this again." Getting up, André flirted with Grace again.
"I believe Rose will be very happy to do that so you can rest." Grace's words hid a little jealousy.
"But not if she is not here, so I will beg my beautiful cousin to help me." André did not give her a chance to invent any excuse.
"I will be happy to accompany you, as long as you can deal with Rose's anger." Grace did not give up easily.
"You can rest easy; I already spoke with Rose about this." André's words greatly surprised Grace.
"What do you mean?"
"I believe it is time to go out. The city lord has been waiting for us for some time. We will talk about this later."
Leaving behind the shy and surprised Grace, André got out of the carriage first.
"Welcome, Lord Viscount. A pleasure to meet you; my name is Antonio Flores." Upon getting out of the carriage, André found himself with an old man who bowed a little upon seeing him.
"Hello, Miss Grace, long time no see. I see you have become a beautiful lady." Upon seeing Grace get out of the carriage, the old man greeted her affectionately.
"Grandfather Gregorio, I missed you a lot!" Grace took a step forward and hugged the old man with great happiness.
André could understand Grace's behavior: the old man Gregorio had been like her own grandfather since she was a child and had accompanied her in her growth.
"Lord André, please accompany me. I have prepared the best room of the mansion for you." Leaving Grace's embrace, the old man respectfully greeted André so that he would follow him.
After a while, in a study of the mansion that André took for his use during the time he stayed in Sun City:
"Have you contacted the people?" André asked Gregorio, who sat in front of him.
"Yes, my lord. They will arrive after dinner."
"Very well; in the meantime I will rest in my room."
Dismissing Gregorio, André returned to his room to be surprised upon finding Grace, who was waiting for him nervously.
"What is it that my beautiful cousin is looking for here?" André joked a little upon seeing her shyness.
"I want you to answer me about what happened a while ago. Is what you said true?" Grace's blush became deeper upon asking this question.
"Of course it is true; I already spoke about it with Rose before coming."
"Why did you have to speak with her about that? Did you already have plans about me?" Grace asked with suspicion and a little hope.
André noticed the longing on her face and answered accordingly:
"To tell the truth, I believe I have fallen in love with you since the first time I saw you."
"What does an eleven-year-old child know about love? I don't believe anything of what you say." Grace said this, but she could not hide the happiness on her face.
"I am about to turn twelve; don't forget it." André said this knowing that in this world nobles, at twelve years of age, can speak of love. Marriage at fourteen years of age in this world is normal.
"Then, when the time comes, would you marry me?" The nervousness on her face was evident.
"You should have waited for me to ask this question. Now I feel a little embarrassed, but you can be sure that I will still marry you, although Rose will be my first wife." André was surprised and embarrassed. He had not expected his cousin to be so liberal in asking this question, so he said it this way to avoid her becoming embarrassed.
"Hehehe, womanizer." Then Grace left the room with a face full of happiness.
André was surprised. He had not expected it to go so well with Grace. He believed it would take him a great deal of effort, but he was still happy. He only hoped it would go as well with Sofía.
