It was finally time for me to return to Milham, and honestly, I was starting to look forward to getting back after everything that had happened during my stay in the Mermaid Kingdom.
Since my business here was practically finished, I didn't see much reason to stick around any longer than necessary. There were still a few things I needed to take care of back home, and I had already spent more than enough time dealing with one situation after another. Although the fact that Shredica still hadn't been found bothered me a little, I believed she would eventually make her way back. I couldn't imagine her being dead, either, because that woman was practically impossible to kill. Seriously, if there was anyone who could survive a situation that should have been fatal, it would probably be her. I wasn't about to assume she had died just because she hadn't shown up yet.
