After spending some time talking with Irene and letting her continue feeding Lara, I eventually made my way to the garden, where Gabrielle and Rose were spending time with my other daughters.
The moment I arrived, I noticed Kana, my daughter with Gabrielle, moving around on her own two feet. Unlike Lara, who was still little enough to spend most of her time being carried around, Kana had already reached the stage where she could walk and talk, which meant she was becoming increasingly active with every passing day.
Honestly, I wasn't sure whether I was ready for how quickly she was growing up, because it felt like only yesterday that she was small enough to fit comfortably in my arms without trying to wander off every few seconds.
