This batch of fourth-year cadets at the academy was finally preparing for graduation, and of course, I was included among them. It felt a little strange to think that I was already reaching this point, especially considering how much my life had changed over the past few years. When I first entered the academy, I never imagined that I would eventually become so involved in affairs outside its walls that attending regular lectures would become one of the least important things on my schedule.
These days, I barely had enough time to deal with everything happening around the world, let alone sit in a classroom and listen to a professor explain something I might not even have time to use. With the war taking up most of my attention and countless other problems demanding my involvement, keeping up with my academic responsibilities had become increasingly difficult.
