Yan Su couldn't fathom why his casual knock on the door had resulted in Lin Feng glaring at him as if he were his father's murderer.
Just a few minutes prior, after Yan Su had brought Lin Feng to visit Wu Mei, he suddenly remembered that his earlier explanation hadn't been very clear. He had returned to clarify to Lin Feng that Wu Mei's forehead was singed not because his warning came too late, but because she hadn't had time to move all her intelligence documents before the fire broke out. She had insisted on transferring the intelligence files and destroying the equipment before finally leaving the scene.
He hoped Lin Feng wouldn't misunderstand him… With this thought, Yan Su knocked on Wu Mei's door.
Yan Su knocked and waited a full half minute. Just as he was about to conclude that everyone inside was asleep, he heard the RUMBLE of a sofa being dragged across the floor. Immediately after, the door slid open with a CREAK, revealing Lin Feng's murderous face!
