The warm sunlight, white bed sheets, and long, scattered curls; a delicate face, an arm wrapped around from behind, another arm under her neck; the Saintess had been awake for a while but hadn't moved, not wanting to wake the person behind her. She felt a hand move to her abdomen, the warmth of the palm feeling very comfortable there. A look of satisfaction appeared on her face, making her seem very at ease.
Despite being a Saintess, she still gets her period. It came last night, and even though she doesn't feel the cramps like ordinary women, having a warm hand there still feels very pleasant.
"Good morning, darling!" Li Yifei's voice came from behind, magnetic and most melodious to the Saintess. She turned her head, met his gaze, and lightly pecked his lips, feeling the prick of his stubble. The Saintess reached out to touch it, and her fingers made a scratching sound. "You should shave your beard later; it's grown out," she said.
"You don't like it?" Li Yifei asked.
