The two open letters Gergary sent to Basil Jaak could be considered "breaking the norms," but the letter Basil Jaak sent back to Gergary... it can hardly be called a letter at all; it's basically him swearing at Gergary!
Even when Phoebe and others first heard the "grand and verbose" contents of Basil Jaak's few dozen-word letter, they all looked at each other, surprised at such a response.
Fitzell recorded Basil Jaak's words and asked, "Your Majesty, is that... all?"
Basil Jaak nodded, "Time and place are set, what else is needed? I've also sent my regards to his entire family."
Basil Jaak took a sip of tea, looked at the stunned expressions of those below, and asked, "Everyone, what do you think of this response from me?"
