Chapter 36 - A gift from a stranger

One day, Capelli was wandering around the village market, looking for a winter coat. He stopped in front of a store and noticed a beautiful saleswoman holding a coat.

Capelli: Beautiful girl, are you a soldier or a newcomer to the village?

Mutant Cat: I am a newcomer to the village.

Capelli: What's your name?

Mutant Cat: Neela.

Capelli: Your name is beautiful.

Mutant Cat: What do you want?

Capelli: A coat.

Mutant Cat: Take this gray one.

Capelli: How much is it?

Mutant Cat: It's a gift from me.

Capelli: My father told me not to take gifts from anyone.

Mutant Cat: Then I'll lower the price from 50 coins to 10 coins. You can bring me the money next time.

Capelli: I have the money.

Mutant Cat: I told you, next time we meet, don't come to this store. I'll be somewhere else. You might find me wandering around the village.

Capelli: Goodbye, beautiful girl… you will be mine.

On his way to the hut to meet Sula, thoughts of that beautiful girl filled his mind.

When he arrived at the hut, he found Uncle Colin at the door.

Uncle Colin: Hello, Capelli. Sula is very tired; she's lying on her bed. Something must have happened to you—I sent the soldiers to look for you. They told me Sula was sick and needed care, so I rushed to her and left the soldiers searching for you. Tell me, where have you been?

Capelli: I was in the market.

Uncle Colin: Come on, go to your wife.

Capelli: I'll put on my coat first.

Uncle Colin: What's wrong with you, Capelli? I told you Sula is sick, and you're worried about finding a coat?

Capelli hung the coat behind the door and turned toward Sula.
