Chapter 34 - Capelli and Sula return to the village

Cappelli and Sula returned to the village. He entered the hut and called his mother, Mirta.

He left the hut looking for her in the village, shouting, "Mirta, where are you?"

The villagers gathered around, shouting, "The warrior girl, Sula, has returned. We thought you were dead."

Sula: "I narrowly escaped, and I missed the warrior there."

Village soldiers: "My friend, the warrior lies here."

Capelli: "My happiness, my father has returned to the hut. Where is my mother?"

Village soldiers: "She is at her brother's house."

Sula: "Come on, take me to her."

As they walked through the streets, Cappelli said to Sula, "Look, the village is populated with people. I think we have been away for a long time."

Sula: "Perhaps the inhabitants of Utopia came to live with us."

The soldiers arrived at Mirta's brother's house and called her, "Mirta, Cappelli has returned!"

Her brother came out, as this was good news. Capelli ran to him, hugging him, and called out to Mirta, "Come."

Mirta came out quickly, running until she fell. Capelli quickly went to her, holding her while crying, "Mom, I missed you. Mom, you are my city. Mom, you are my key. Mom, my father has returned."

Mirta: "Your father is underground."

Capelli: "Is he still fighting underground?"

Mirta: "Maybe he is in the city you mentioned."

Sula: "We met him and the king."

Mirta: "Have you seen the king?"

Sula: "Yes, and he said, 'Throw bouquets of roses at Mirta.'"

When Kun heard these words, he ran to his garden, picked roses, and gave them to the soldiers, who threw them at Mirta and her son, saying, "The keys will not be lost."

Mirta took her son Capelli to see his father. When they arrived at his grave next to the hut,

she said to him: "Here lies your warrior father."

Cappelli cried hard, saying, "I want to lie next to you, father."

Cappelli fainted, lying next to the grave.

Sula wanted to go to him, but her mother said to her, "Leave him. One day you will see him lying next to his father."

"His father was a warrior, and I want him to be like him, to avenge his father."

Cappelli woke up, saying, "My father is with me. My father is my key. He is with me in the eternal city. I saw him happy. My father is not dead."

Everyone returned to the hut and sat down. Mirta looked at the girl, Sula, and said to her:

"You are Capelli's companion. You are his key. You will marry my son."

Sula smiled. Uncle Kun shouted, "Let's make our days happy. Tomorrow I will leave my hut and let Capelli hold his wedding party there."
