Day after day passed, and then another, and yet another, as Vise climbed the mountain along a path shrouded in snowstorms. The snowstorm severely limited visibility, and the strong winds made it difficult for someone like Vise to walk, causing him to stumble and fall several times, even being blown over by the force of the blizzard.
He struggled to breathe; the cold air made his lungs ache. Vise clutched his chest, trying to breathe slowly, letting the air enter his nostrils gradually.
Behind him, two dark figures approached. One of them patted Vise lightly on the back and pointed towards a cave ahead.
"Alright, that's enough for today. There's a cave ahead; let's go in and rest a bit," Witty said.
Inside the cave, Emosen was grilling food, while Vise and Witty, hungry after a long day of hiking, ate heartily.
"Thank you for accompanying me on this trip, Witty, Emosen," Vise said.
"It's nothing. Helping others climb mountains is my hobby," Emosen replied.
