Chapter 110 - Chapter 109: Desperate Rush Against Time, Part 12?

The Anti-Luna Effect surrounded the white haired one, carefully being guided and maintained within her Purification Attribute to make sure it wouldn't affect her.

"How strange. This is an incredibly narrow Anti-Effect made before I restructured my Soul and body. Despite this and the fragility of the Effect, it is still able to Target me without any issue which means that neither my Black Blood or Vital Mana were originally part of the Targetting in the first place. Yet if those were not part of it, which parts of me did it Target? High enough No Attribute Affinity? It can't be zero in an Attribute as thanks to Arcane Armageddon, I have 100 in each of them."

Luna experimentally thought aloud, her ability to instinctively reproduce the Effect being limited to an exact copy of it and so leaving her lacking a deeper, more theoretical understanding of it.

And so she was forced to experiment on it, manifesting and shaping it through the Purification Attribute, leaving her missing some securities or ability to just shift it into, just as an example, an Anti-Mark Effect.

"Mark is not the one with the Contract with that Flowing Spirit as having a Contract with Spirits coming from different Planes is impossible without the assistance of Azure's Blessing of the Spirits. And not only is that Skill an Innate one that requires being born with it, it also can only appear on a single Half-Elf at a time which means that Azure is the only one that posses that Skill." She analyzed aloud, discarding the more direct possibility and moving to the next ones, taking advantage of the blizard surrounding her to buy herself time.

"Which means that someone else created the Anti-Luna effect to then share with the Spirit. If it was the Regressor, it simply meant that he could have worked it out in a previous Timeline but it isn't. He could have shared the memories maybe but if he could share something this complicated, he could have just shared memories of our previous fights." She wondered, her voice coming from the air all around the Domain at once, her body long since having vanished into nothing.

"And this Effect is too narrow to be created without first-hand experience of the Phenomena that is being opposed. The Spirit's Contractor is the one that made it then. Yet what is being Targetted? The two things important enough to my identity that didn't evolve are my Race Skill Lunarian and Unique Skill Singularity. I suppose either would work well enough as a theory." She nodded to herself, satisfied, turning her gaze fully on the struggling Human-Spirit Hybrid within her Domain.

Said lightning-envepoled one meanwhile was breathing harshly, the cold of the air stabbing their throat and stinging their eyes, having been forced to raise a wall of electricity all around themselves, striking at each and every single snowflake moving near them as even a single one landing on their body could be downright fatal.

Luna focused back fully on the fight she was in, returning to full visibility now that she was no longer busy thinking about other things.

Her Will filled the Domain easily, the Laws within it shifting as the wind stilled for an instant alone before raging even more fiercely.

The cold wind above the sky spiraled in on itself, the clouds twisting around various points before raining back down to the ground as vast tornadoes, pulling in and then shredding apart everything nearby, closing in towards JouleMark from all sides.

There was no chance that their shield could last against the incoming onslaught and similarly the latter they acted, the least chance they would have to dodge at all as they rapidly closed the distance with their body, cutting off their escape paths, especially if one was to consider the pulling force of the twisters.

Immediately they activated their Unique Skill, the world greying out all around them and allowing them to be certain of the correctness of their choice.

Their glowing blue eyes were now able to grasp with the passage of time stopped how the snowflakes that previously ignored completely the wind were now being affected by it, being precisely guided so that they could form within the tornadoes a moving minefield that assured no possibility of survivability to those caught within them.

JouleMark hurriedly yet carefully moved between the stopped tornadoes, being carefull to leave an especially wide berth between their own body and the snowflakes that were all around them, watching the ground and being carefull to step only on the very rare instances of ground remaining, enduring the frigid cold of both the air and the hard stone beneath their lightning-covered feet.

They did their best to go as far away as possible from their original position, all of their senses trying to grasp the truth of this Domain, tornadoes stopped in mid-air before they could even finish forming, their eyes quickly flying to the stopped snowflakes and lightnings in the sky, noting their trajectory and moving to evade them all.

Finally just before the Human-Spirit Hybrid decided to end their Time Walker, they gave a last order to the electricity that previously formed their barrier.

The world regained both color and movement, the lightning accumulating before erupting towards the Lunarian in a large mass more similar to a spear than anything else, aiming on blowing up her whole torso at once through a surprise attack, or at least serving to distract her briefly.

The yellow bolt blinding in its intensity flew towards the unblinking form of Luna, passing undisturbed between the tornadoes to strike right at the Lunarian.

At less than a meter away from the white-haired one, she finally decided to respond to the incoming lightning strike.

JouleMark watched astonished as the electricity they released towards their hated opponent vanished into nothing with no apparent effort or action required.

"Don't be so shocked. I simply used my Will to impose a new Law in this Domain, negating the existence of your Spell within a meter of me. Sure, this did cost me a little of my Astral Ichor but I have plenty more." She explained calmly, taking advantage of their surprise to prepare her next move.

Her hands moved together at the height of her chest, the glow of the Purification Attribute around her condensing back together in a single sphere floating between her hands, sphere that quickly started to darken, its Alignment flipping completely, transforming from the Holy-Light Composite Attribute to the Curse-Dark Composite Attribute, Condemnation.

A vast shadow expanded from her body, light falling and being extinguished completely in an ever growing area around her before condensing back into a sphere of the purest darkness floating around her before, with a smile, she plunged her left hand into it without any hesitation before pulling it back completely unharmed.

JouleMark's eyes widened briefly before understanding flashed in their mind. "This is not an increased Resistance to or a newly-aquired Immunity from the Anti- Effect in the first place. Instead this is…"

"Yes, by Inverting the Alignment of the Purification Attribute into the Condemnation one, I was able to invert the Anti-Luna Effect too, creating an Anti-Anti-Luna Effect. What a bothersome name, yet it is correct. This Effect Targets everything that is not me." Luna's voice interrupted their conjecture, confirming at once their theory and doing even more in depth. "It Targets everything that is not me. My Spells and Familiars are excluded, sure, in their role as parts of me, but my Mates are instead included. What a bothersome Effect this is. All the same it can still be of use to me."

Her smile widened even further, sharp fangs gleaming dangerously in her mouth before she continued on. "[Ragnarök: Vessel]." Immediately after her command, the Domain trembled violently, starting to shake more and more.

The tornadoes coming from the sky suddenly changed movements in time with her words, the chilling winds accumulating together in a sphere floating above her right hand.

Together with the wind came the snowflakes, bursting into pale flames upon contact with the orb of high-speed air, the flames being pulled in as were the lightning flashing in the sky, joining together and forming a very brief pillar that was completely absorbed within the orb.

Wind rushed, the air within the Domain being entirely pulled in the sphere at an ever growing pressure, forcing JouleMark to ran away against the wind, plates of hardened stone and large crystalline growths alike being ripped from the ground, shattering into pieces and flying within the turbolent sphere.

The Domain itself stilled, returning to just being a silvery filter over the World, the Spell previously forming its pattern no longer influencing it.

Instead, all of the Spell's power and actualized Reality were concentrated in a single orb floating atop her right hand, a mass of storming winds, freezing crystals, hard stone, chilling flames and pale lightning bolts raging within the precise confines of the orb.

With a smile, Luna let it fall, her six Familiars briefly appearing around her before plunging into the sphere.

JouleMark was unable to interfere, their eyes widening in a mix of shock and rising fear as the mass struck the ground, detonating in a brief wave of elemental fury, all the power immediately coalescing in a single mass.

The ground started shaking underneath the Human-Spirit Hybrid as an immense figure surpassing twenty meters in height formed before them, stepping with their immense weight towards them.

Six immense legs stomped down heavily as the earth trembled beneath its feet, the enormous monstrosity roaring violently.

Animalistic, reptilian feet made of a light blue crystals and enveloped in an hardened layer of slightly-brownish dark grey stone smashed into the ground with a tremor, leading up to its segmented bottom half and ending in four long reptilian yet feathered tails.

Two pair of great bat-like wings expanded from between the limbs, ready to close in to function as additional protection or to assist in its gliding if this ever proved necessary.

Where its head would be emerged a more humanoid upper half, a muscular body enveloped in the same protective armor as its bottom half, four arms protruding outwards, their hands and most of their forearms enveloped into incredibly intense winds that spun in a precise way while functioning as both shields and spears.

Six more, crystalline feathered wings opened at its back, pale flames solidifying upon its neck and forming a vaguely Drake-like head with three eyes to end the figure that Luna caused to appear, each of its step being accompanied by a strident wave of air pressure similar to a roar.

Luna, floating above, concentrated only on the mass of Condemnation Attribute floating above her left hand, lacing it with more motes of her Astral Ichor to turn it into a new, even more deadly, Spell to load into her Domain, leaving the Vessel to fight in her place.
