Luna immediately dashed towards the glowing mass of water, slipping in between the various jets of highly-compressed water that flew towards her, rapidly crossing most of the distance to the Flowing Spirit before stopping immediately, dodging this way the second wave of projectiles that impacted before her in a burst of glowing water.
The Lunarian's red eyes and her Senses working together were the only things that let her observe how the water that expoded before herself collapsed in on itself briefly before it detonated itself, hardening into sharp bullets that precisely rained down upon her current location.
In response and after a brief cut on the white haired one's left arm, a wave of Black Blood erupted from her newest wound, forming a wall that was able to briefly block the rain of purifying pellets, just long enough for Luna to launch herself to her right, a thin beam of Vital Mana flying towards the Spirit, her previous barrier soon collapsing in its component materials because of her opponent's Purifying ability.
Luna did not hesitate, burying her fully healthy hand in the ground almost to her elbow, grabbing it firmly before immediately rupturing upwards a boulder coated in Vital Mana that she then threw towards the glowing humanoid mass while at the same time rising on her feet and aiming right at the sky.
The Spirit without any hesitation of their own moved the twelve spheres floating around them to before themselves, writhing brightly before erupting first in a light wave that washed over the stone's Vital Mana coating, rapidly eroding it and leaving behind only the boulder thrown by the Lunarian, boulder that was then split in two by an highly-pressurized vertical beam of water that split it in two.
Yet before the humanoid mass could continue in their attack against the Lunarian, they were able to see how inside of the boulder rested a mass of solidified shadows that started to glow, erupting in a wave of heat that tried to overflow the Water-Attribute Emanation.
They were able to raise a protective layer of Purifying water in between the two to protect themselves, sure, however this meant that Luna had more than enough time to launch her own Arrow towards the sky, the arrow arcing to aim right at the Spirit, activating a weak but cheap Art. "[Star Shower]!"
In an instant the arrow split into hundreds that rained down upon the Spirit's general location, a very weakened version of her [Ruinous Stars] Art that she choose for two reasons, the first being that it was vastly cheaper and quicker to use, thing very important considering her current reserves.
But the second reason, the more important one currently, was the fact that the arrows that proceded to rain down upon her opponent were exact copies of the arrow she launched.
As the Spirit moved their pure water in the way of the arrows that would strike her directly, quickly dissolving them into their component and then dissolving most of them entirely, leaving behind of them only liquid shadows that flowed down around their body, the area around them being littered with the remaining arrows that impaled the ground around the one that came from the Plane of Flows.
Before they could return to suppress the Lunarian, the Spirit was able to notice how the arrows around them started to glow and heat up slightly and causing them to immediately release a wave of Purification-infused water from around their current Avatar, the glowing liquid being able to rip apart those closest to their body immediately before rising up defensively in a dome around them.
The arrows detonated, not in waves of Vital Mana or fire but simply being released in a violent wave of heat, their coating of water rapidly starting to boil and evaporate despite their every effort, their temporary Vessel's Stability having degraded significantly because of the suddently increased heat by the time the arrows finished burning up.
The stunned Spirit did not have time to react before the left half of their Vessel exploded, the water forming it splattering all over the ground behind it as their body trembled lightly at the sudden lack of around a whole third of their body mass, their attention demonstrated by a number of more intense and regular lights all over their body concentrating on Luna, the originator of the attack.
The humanoid mass of Purifying Water immediately flowed left, being able to barely dodge a second shockwave emanated from the Lunarian's bow, a strike based on a silent Art launched from the white haired one that did not sent forward an arrow of Black Blood or a wave of Vital Mana, merely releasing a shockwave with air pressure alone and in this way dodging the their Purifying effect.
Mark almost felt as if he was forgotten by the Being he hated the most in the World, scowling briefly before moving to Grug and proceding to rapidly bring him away from the red eyed one. "Even if Luna is adapting to fight against Flux, they should still be more than able to buy us enough time. Drink a Rising Potion, try to recover as much as possible but be ready to run away at any time."
He almost ordered, his eyes hard because of the concentration he was under at the time, barely able to ear the assent coming from the exhausted Half-Dwarf, his brain working overtime to calculate how long the Lunarian would be distracted by the fight and in testing out various ways to bypass Aler's measures, his scowl expanding in displeasure.
Meanwhile back between the one coming from the Plane of Flows and the one from the Moon, said battle restarted in full.
Luna watched her adversary with a smile growing on her face, understanding well that their use of the Purification Attribute, the Composite Attributes born from the combination of the Holy- and Light-Attributes, was being limited to only the water already under their control.
And almost as if they wanted to stop her from using her previous tactics of just using natural elements in their battle, thing quite useless considering how she already decided on experimenting in searching another way to bypass the Purification-Attribute Infused water, was now surrounded by sixteen orbs of water floating around their body that continuously released high-speed jets of water towards the Lunarian.
Said target watched carefully the projectiles flying towards her before rising various different shields for each of the bullets, some made by Vital Mana, others by Mana or Vital Energy alone, even more by Black Blood, solid shadows or blood and finally others were created using Aura alone.
This was naturally only because she wanted to test out the exact properties of the Purification-Attribute involved.
The bullets rained down upon the shields, leading her to smile wide at the results and the new informations she gained with her latest move, observing how all of them, except for some of the shield made by shadows, were quickly being broken down and dissolving.
"I see." Luna said calmly, her lips forming a smile. "This Purification-Attribute was Altered. My Vital Energy, Mana and especially my Aura should not be affected by a natural Purification. Meanwhile the only shadow shields being destroyed were those made by my own shadows, those made by other shadows being left completely unscathed. This is an Anti-effect."
The Spirit didn't react to her voiced understanding, merely sending forth a new volley of bullets that smashed against a new wall of shadows that emerged from around the Lunarian, unwillingly confirming her theory.
"Let's see." She casually continued on with her explanation, a playfull expression on her face. "This is not an Anti-Vampire effect as it would not affect me in that case. Similarly this is too intense for it to be Anti-Vampiric. It's impossible to make an Anti- Ability without enough experience with the subject matter so this is not Anti-Moon as neither the Spirit nor their Summoner would have enough intimate knowledge about it and it would still be too wide in its Range.
"The narrower a Range, the more intense the Anti- effect and otherwise. They are not using any Mana or Vital Energy to maintain the effect..." She was reasoning aloud, the playfull light in her eyes reaching an apex as she finally reached the answer that was obvious to her by this point. "It's clear now that this is an Anti-Luna Effect, isn't it? The time until your entrance was to make sure you all had enough information to create this Effect."
Soon after her words, she returned to the attack by doing something that she didn't do in so very long.
Shadows erupted from around Luna, none of them her own, before stretching towards the Spirit, impaling them in various places before branching off to violently rip their body apart, forcing the Flowing Spirit to recall the droplets back into form and in this way stalling them from launching their own attacks, at least for a little while longer.
As the water accumulated again in their form, they hurriedly shifted away, dodging the next waves of shadow spikes, their processing too busy dodging to properly find the Lunarian, Lunarian that took advantage of it to simply vanish entirely from their Senses.
Yet this absence lasted only a couple of terribly long seconds as the ground underneath the humanoid mass of water erupted, the living Singularity having appeared from beneath them and launching a punch right to the Spirit's abdomen equivalent.
Luna hissed, feeling the skin and flesh of her right arm slowly starting to be dissolved too yet not being detered at all, a smile growing on her face as she punched again and again, forcefully healing herself after every single one of her strikes to try and adapt to the Anti-Luna, Purifying Effect itself; her eyes glowing ever brighter as the grey flame she previously created tried to devour her from the inside out.
