KARA'S POV
Griffith walking right past me and not saying anything aside from a greeting was a kick in the gut. I stood frozen in the hallway and briefly glanced behind as he walked away. He didn't look back at all.
He hated me and thought I was crazy, didn't he? I thought to myself. Disappointed and sad I went to my room and tried to continue with my day but found it hard to focus.
When I saw the hickeys Griffith had given me in the mirror I felt myself blush as I remembered. Though I quickly tried to brush off the thoughts. I had to remember what he did to me that night was a mistake, he wasn't in his right mind.
That night Aldric was the one who came to my room. It was the usual, we just did as we'd agreed to but throughout I kept thinking about Griffith.

When Griffith returned to my room the following night I felt my heart pounding out of my chest.
We simply greeted each other and immediately began with the usual exchange of hickeys.
