Shadow Play supported herself on the edge of the cave wall with both hands, finally leaving the vertical passage. She rolled over half a turn, lay on the ground, arms spread wide, breathing heavily, every inhalation and exhalation making her chest rise and fall violently. She lay on the ground for less than two seconds before the sweat on her back had already soaked the ground.
She wanted to stand up but was exhausted, both mentally and physically. Although there were strong thoughts in her mind, her body didn't make any movements, not even wanting to simply roll over. Her eyelids started to droop, and things in front of her became blurry.
Since coming to the "Journey to the Abyss," she had been following Wu You all the way, heading to the abyss, then leaving the abyss, with hardly any time to rest in between. If it weren't for long-term exercise plus the replenishment by mutated humans in between, she would never have been able to persist until now.
