In the closed interrogation room, the circular light shone on the wall, with two people sitting in the shadows on either side of the light column.
One man was in uniform, heavyset, while the other was tall and slender with sharp eyes.
A few seconds after they looked at each other, the uniformed man took out a brown briefcase, retrieved a document from it, and placed it on the table, holding it down with three fingers of his right hand and pushing it forward.
"As exchange, you need to sign the confidentiality agreement."
"Not going public with it now?"
"Don't ask too many questions."
"Hmph."
Qian Cangyi fluidly wrote the name "Lei Zhan" and drew the final stroke straight onto the table.
The uniformed man took the confidentiality agreement, put it back in the briefcase, then stood up and left.
The door slammed shut.
Qian Cangyi leaned forward in his upper body, allowing the light to shine on his profile.
